Absolutely true. But the reasons why itâs impossible are the same reasons why it requires constant effort from the devs to curtail it to whatever extent they can.
Futzing with chat filters is the bare minimum.
Assuming youâre right about auto-click guy (I share your suspicion), Blizz should be loud and proud about it, name-and-shame the players they ban for duping, botting, etc. Put in some effort to show the player base that they are enforcing their own rules, while simultaneously demonstrating that breaking those rules at least has a vague risk attached.
And for the love of Pete, fix the max obducite glitch. That CANNOT be impossible. [Edit: It has been. Leaving this here to name-and-shame myself]
We could not let you live under the opression of the obsolete system when you gave us $3.
Now you can enjoy the refreshingly modern system where you give us $8.
You forgot to add False Progression. (Players hunkering in doorways while someone else gets them to T4 or levels their paragon) Thought T4 was supposed to be meaningful lol.
Buying Boss mats and gold off RMT sites. Items were not acquired in game and therefore is CHEATING!
Blizz can stop it but choose not to for some sketchy reason only known to them.
I have some ideias, but the devâs are payâd (handsomly) to have them, so why should i do the work for them?
Anyway i donât have to explain myself to you (or anyone else, AMOF), so end of discussionâŚ
I donât remember the last time poe had a duping issue, I never hear about poe duping. Mater of fact I donât hear about duping in any game besides d4âŚ
the real problem here is that blizzard is balancing the game expecting people to trade, rmt, and or dupe so if you ssf/play the game normally, youâre going to have a terrible time with ultra low drop rates.
Yup. Cheaters will always cheat, and find new and inventive ways to cheat.
Everyone knows this. That is precisely why - if youâre going to make and run an online live-service game - you have to devote a healthy chunk of your time and resources into constantly combating it as much as you can.
The inevitability of cheating makes combating it MORE important, not less important, as you seem to imply.
There used to be a map duping issue that they patched, though Iâm not sure if it was duping via intended mechanics or not. Ya know, since the crafting system in PoE applies to pretty much everything.
So duping probably isnât something they struggle with, but everything else they sure do.
