Is it intended for the corpse explosion area left behind by the blighted corpse explosion upgrade to completely black out the area it covers when several explosions stack? Currently, stacking several of these in an area makes seeing anything, especially combat cues impossible, making the talent borderline useless. Talents shouldn’t be direct downgrades to combat effectiveness simply because of the visuals associated with them weren’t thought out / tested properly.

party members always complain about the effect. Its almost a smoke screen that no body can see causing us not to avoid explosions and traps
Indeed, just having two slightly overlapping zones provides enough impairment to put you at a serious disadvantage.
There’s also a player ability (not sure what class/ability) that does the same thing
