Black River bug needs fixing

Hey blizz can you please fix black river already?

Add it to the 100000 other issues your mobile phone ported to console and pc has.

Its bugged atm. When using blighted explosion the aoe isnt any bigger and it consumes 4 corpses but only makes 1 pool

I have the same problem, has Blizzard acknowledged that Black River doesn’t work with Blighted Corpse Explosion and that it will be fixed?

Feels like they took time to develop this legendary affix, but forgot to take time to make it robust and stable…

Imagine building your Necro around blighted corpse explosion without looking at all the unique affixs first, then Black River drops and you get all excited because it sounds like the perfect item for your build; then you equip it and it does nothing plus the affix from ‘Howl from Beyond’ and ‘Black River’ never got tested to work with each other? How? That seems like it should be pretty high on the list make sure you test that all class unique affixs work with all versions of skills and that they work with each other.

It multiplies the damage correctly, as far as I’m aware, it just doesn’t expand the pool size at all.

They didn’t take time to make anything robust or stable- this was a beta that got rubber stamped as full release and, for the most part, nothing has been done to it for a month.

The only thing high on the list for 2023 blizzard is battlepass sales and more $$. Balancing and testing their games is a low priority

The choice words in that statement were for a very particular reason…

Black river also doesn’t increase the CDR of explosive mist when consuming multiple corpses with blighted but does with the regular version.

The regular CE version is quite strong though in a standard crit vuln tendril build if you want to try that. I often hit upwards of 3 million+ screen wide corpse explosions

While I agree they should fix it to reflect the tooltip I don’t think this bug was actually a huge detriment at all. Like the pool is already pretty big and I had an issue where I was like “Oh if only this wasn’t bugged it would be hitting more mobs”. It is probably pretty low on their list of priorities compared to more game breaking bugs (ie blood lance).

IT makes me sick. Blizzard, IS the Radius and/or damage fixed soon…it hast been Months…today was an Update…Patch…whatever…but it did NOT got fixed…seriously, whats Up?

HOw do you test 25% bigger AoE radius from Black River? Do you expect 25% bigger to become 100% bigger? 25% bigger to me is still small.

But hey, I hit hard as a Blighted CE Summoner on S0 and S1 with Black River. Fueled By Death+1 was its main killer for Summoners.

It’s supposed to be 25% bigger per corpse up to 5. CE radius should double at 5 corpses. I’m confident it still does not do so with Blighted CE. It’s not a graphical issue either.

As far as I could tell the damage increase does work. So it’s not the end of the world. It’s generally easy to get most stuff into a standard sized BCE pool. The major exception is highly mobile bosses because CT does not work except for staggers.

The real treat with Black River is Flesh Eater/Grim Harvest interactions and the skill-ups. All the extra corpse consumes qualify for the first two. Flesh Eater activates instantly and you get back 30 essence with 3/3 Grim Harvest when popping 5. You don’t need resource aspects, the extra skill ranks outcompete additional additives for BCE, odds are you’ll be spawning corpses much more consistently and Flesh Eater requires very little babysitting.
