Tough call. So far I lasted much longer in fallout 76 than I think I will here.
Short term, Fallout 76…258 hours in game in Steam, no idea pre-steam. But this game…once they clean it up, I’ll come back to again and again and try every class…and I’ll play that class to the full extent. So ya…long term, I suspect more hours in D4 then Fallout 76.
d4 game design is influenced by chinese devs, their idea of fun is chore. you are being play instead of you playing the game itself. “Fun” doesn’t exist in their mindset, and their existence is solely to be a functional cog in a bigger system that benefit themselves.
have you noticed if u played D3, most boss in it have more dialog than this game, most of the boss u fight in nm are mutes. Like i said this game feels like soulless as its game designer. you are being automated.
Biggest disappointment since the electron?
I think it’s still the electron. Always so negative!!
Fallout 76 actually has a very good building mechanics, perhaps one of the best. This was (still has it if I log in) one of my CAMPs:
na this feels like at the category of Command and Conquer 4, great presentation, great advertisement, hype, then came out like gutted rotten fish that went from 100% to MISSING A LOT OF THINGS. pure corporate production that destroys a franchise, and now u are seeing it happening in this game.
I am sensing it now they’ll make warcraft mobile game just like the gutted version of generals.
My post was literally just a joke about electricity lol
Bravo.
20characters.
I do see the similarities, both were good games negatively bandwagoned by manchildren.
658 hours in Fo76.
D4 got 1 to 100 in eternal, finish battlepass cosmetic on s1 (lvl 67) and full stop quit. Prob (100 hours ish).
This game is just too bland. Last Epoch has better endgame where you can push corruption infinitely (like NMD but no maximum). The build variety also differs hugely.
