Best way to sustain fortify?

I’m 60 OP blood minion build, having a hard time maintaining fortify at NM10+ dungeons. Currently I’m only relying of Necrotic carapace and some +fortify generation on gear. Tried the fortify with blood mist option but that sucked. What is the most efficient (skill point cost / paragon) mode to maintain consistent fortify?

Even though this isn’t a ideal setup, I still run Necrotic Carapace myself for my Blight/summoner builds, I just forsake the skirmisher skeletons for Reapers because they provide a upgrade 15% chance per hit to ‘carve’ a corpse, on top of the bone golem that too sheds a corpse when it accumulates 20% damage.

Unless you have forsaken and went with sacrificing your minions, then I dunno what to say currently.

Creating corpses is the best way. 3/3 hewed flesh and reaper minions. Then you take necrotic carapace 3/3.

It’s not even good for necro really but adds a little survivability.

Two other good ways are:

  • Bone prison (also helps with essence regain, blood needs a lot of essence
  • Blood orbs with blood drinker glyph. Proc blood orbs via corpse tendrils oder corpse consumption.

As I understand it hewed flesh does not proc necrotic after the patch few days ago. It would be nice.

Fortified is really important for me as I rely on Overpower damage in my blood surge build unfortuantely.

I usually use hemorrhage (Initiate’s Hemorrhage) to build it up; once it’s up in long fights or quick pulls it’s not as hard to keep up. If you’re using Rathma’s Vigor you just have to be mindful of your stacks so you dont waste an overpower on a hemmorhage hit instead of a nova or blood mist. Get lucky and you can proc a full fortify pretty quickly with the passive.

Drain Vitality passive also helps.

+Fortify Generation affixes on chest / legs / feet / rings; I also run it on a shield.

+Fortify Generation from Paragon Points helps - I use the “Bloodbath” board as my first add-on turned so the Guarded Advance node is the first one I go to.
