Finished the campaign with my main (Druid) and now working on leveling a Barb for fun. He skipped the campaign and just hit 25. What’s the best place in the open world to farm xp to level him up?

You pretty much have to take a similar flight path although with less restrictions. Certain areas are like level 37 at base or level 60 at base and you gotta be careful to avoid them.
I typically just stay in Fractured Peaks until around level 25, and then start hitting between Scosglen and Dry Steps till about level 35 then start doing Hawezar and Kejhistan to 50 but really after level 35 it really depends on where the Tree of Whispers sends me and where the Helltides are.
Just find someone to carry you on wt3 or wt4 until about 50, that takes less then 1hour.
Otherwise you want to farm elites/dungeon or the tree of whispers, as each chest there gives you 120k exp (this seems to be fixed, as I have not gotten less or more since unlocking it on the main char and I gained about 20 levels since then)
Dungeon spam seems to be the best xp/hour outside getting rushed.
Ya dungeon spam is fastest I have leveled three classes to 40 ish in hardcore doing that but warning will burn you out quick with the game since your basically going to be doing the same thing the entire time you play.
check which dungeons the tree of whispers has up
clear 2 of those
turn in the quest
repeat ad infinitum
