For those of you that have tried different builds, which one holds out the best after the nerfs? Playing Necro and it is good, but running out of essence constantly is a drag. Looking a trying a different class, but all the class forums are complaining about how the nerfs crippled their builds. Which is the best and funnest to play? Running out of resource constantly really takes the fun out of a class

That can only be answered by you. If you continue to be a slave to meta you will ruin it for yourself because nerfs and the likes are going to happen constantly.
look up builds from like iceyveins, maxroll, wowhead even has some. All have builds updated for the day one nerfs.
Just look at Youtube on endgame builds and make sure that those builds actually do the higher content like the 20+ dungeons or WT4.
But even with the so called nerfs the classes still function good on par with the others I believe.
No one TBh or all of then who know just play game

Every class has resource issues early game.
If you haven’t gotten to WT3 you have no basis to compare a class. YOu need the items that give you resource generation and more skill points for you to make a judgement.
For example, necro can have enough essence gen late game you can almost constantly cast bone spear.
I was thinking of that build as the rogue seems like fun, but I read in the Rogue forums that the build is no longer viable as you are constantly running out of resource after the nerf. How do you find it after the nerf?
The answer is Rogue. Always has been. Best DPS and Best mobility in the game. if you can move faster than the mobs, you auto win in ARPGs.
Every class is running out of resources, I play WW barb even after we got completely gutted last saturday but it’s nothing you can’t fix with paragons and proper gear.

Agreed but it’s less braindead than it was pre-nerf
never got the gloves spent every bit of my shards to get one no luck. Guess it don’t hurt if you never got to try it anyway
play rogue, they are by far the best and most powerful of all the classes.
and they are fairly nerf proof too!

Dont listen to these complainers… They used a “day 1 early access” Op build that did millions of damage and then it got brought into line where it should be and they are crying wolf claiming its uneplayable now…
Pulverize not nerfed, i still clear T23 Nightmare dungeons with it while i search for better gear.
Trampleslide is destroying my entire screen.
My level 46 Whirlwind barb is doing fine.
These nerfs while yes were nerfs, they were not class killers like these drama club folks would leave you to believe.
Yes, play the most OP class now before its brought into line with where the others should be. that makes sense. so then OP/others can complain that it got nerfed and the game is too hard now etc like they did with barb/druid -_- even though barb/druid are perfectly fine.
I mean you haven’t reach endgame yet, the balancing isn’t based around a lvl 46 who is fresh out of the campaign.
My 46 barb is in T3… and doing just fine. My druid (66) is in T4 and wrecking with one of the claimed “nerfed builds”. My point is, people overeact and act like children for no reason.
