Blizzard has their work cut out for them when they bring us Mephisto. Belial on the cover page for season 8 looks like he would be The ruler of hell. So in the next expansion where one would assume we fight Mephisto his presentation needs to wow us. A skinny skeleton spaghetti string man with horns won’t do. The only worse screw up than season 6 Spiritborn that Blizzard could possibly do is presenting us with a lame looking Mephisto.
Diablo and Baal of course also need to break the screen.

But when Mephisto debuts Blizzard’s monster design and art team have their work cut out for them. Mephisto having a lack lustre design would be lame. A Prime Evil shouldn’t lack aura when compared to a seasonal boss.

He looks like he was cut out from expansion we will never get.

Diablo’s Diablo 2 design I thought was good. Baal is seemingly a tiny little guy while Azmodan and Belial are giants I’ve always thought is odd.
That will be 10 expansions from now, Mephisto has a lot of pets. 
I hope a Demon Hamster is a pet of his.
Best they can do is for you to head to the Diablo statue outside Gea Kul, spam skills and pretend to have an epic battle. Whether you are victorious or not is up to you.
I honestly thought he looked tacky as all get out. Not exactly sure why he looks goofy to me but he definitely does.

I think so. It’s very likely that they’ll shorten the story of the 2nd expansion. Another expansion without Mephisto would be terrible.
no I have a feeling they will get rid of Nyrelle since she already seen her fate if she stops her ritual. Lilith already spoken her words “By three, thy way opens” and “By the blood of the willing, we call thee home.” So yeah the OG Prime Evils will have to make an appearance before we get Diablo fight. If Team Diablo makes expansions with more lesser Prime Evils the game will never hit its goal to be finished and the players that are in their 30-60 age bracket will just die out and the younger ones that play never really understood the game in the first place and the final flagship game Blizzard is holding onto with Warcraft flagship since they ditched Starcraft flagship. Microsoft will start thinking early when not to lose cash.
It’s because he looks like a WoW boss. More Burning Legion and less spawn of Tathamet. At least that big goofy green pic gives me that vibe.
