Been fooling around in the build calculator

The one on github. (it’s already been linked a couple of times)

Seems like I’m going to want those 10 skill points from renown, to get 5 or 3 points into all skills and passives I want.
Level 20 gives a decent starting build.
35 gives all the selections you really need.
After 50 and the 10 renown skill points you can really fill out most chosen skills to 5 and get max points into almost all required passives.

It’s just a simple Flay/Rend/Death Blow with Thorns help build. I thought Rupture was underwhelming. Death Blow was much more fun.
Start at using Call of the Ancients (COTA), will most likely switch to Wrath of the Berserker (WOTB) after awhile.

The Paragon Boards
There are 2 boards that have bleed nodes.
There are 2 boards that have berserk nodes
One Board is shared between Berserk and Bleed, this one will be a challenge to figure out.
No boards have thorns nodes (Insert unhappy face here)
Choosing between Glyph nodes and Legendary nodes is challenging, it’s hard to get both.
I see maybe 5 boards to get to 220 points. Emphasizing mostly Berserk and Bleed.

This build is of course subject to change as it’s just a starting build and you never know where you will end up with Aspects that drop on Legendary items.

There is a Unique item RazorPlate that grants 1000-2000 thorns. Probably pretty hard to get I recon.

When you bleed out mobs with thorns help, that Death Blow never seems to be in cool down. Just hope it work decently on single target bosses.

Ah, i was wondering how many extra skillpoints that came from renown. Good to know.

lol, people wasting their time on build calculators haven’t realized yet the only builds they can play will depend on what drops they get or don’t get.

There is one article in Maxroll I think, it lists 15 skill points from renown. The calculator stops at 10, so there is a bit of a disconnect there.

Well beside unique aspects you will probably get every aspect you want @endgame.

They said unique droprates are very low.

Apparently you did not read the caveat in the post, of course you change things up when, if you get drops they point to other builds. You seem to have a bit of a snarky attitude, why?

I mean yeah, this is why I wanted to use the skill builder to design a starter build based on the legendaries we can guarantee from dungeons with the codex. Crazy right?

It’s not a bad thing to familiarize ones self to what is on the paragon boards.
Other than just core stats there are things you want to plan around.

Bleed, Berserk, Armor, resistances, damage reduction, yellow nodes, legendary nodes and glyph nodes all needs some amount of prior knowledge.

Not sure how accurate the calculator but it beats nothing at all.
