Hello Team! I finally am farming T4 and running the escalating sigils and despite defeating Astaroth multiple times before his dog could get back up, Beastmaster’s Bane is not completing. I am not sure what I’m missing. Has anyone else been able to complete this since the most recent July 15th patch?

I am experiencing the same with Beastmaster’s Bane and Visions of Pain. Neither are completing for some reason…

I did Visions of Pain today. Make sure difficulty is set to T4 before you start and set a timer. You have to down Astaroth before 10 minutes are up. I managed to do it with a minute to spare. Don’t hit chests, don’t do events, don’t backtrack if you don’t have too. Just run to finish each dungeon as fast as possible.
This is not the same though. Beastmaster’s Bane is still bugged. I got Visions Of Pain in under 7 minutes, but it still did not complete Beastmaster’s Bane.

I have the same problem. Beastmaster’s Bane won’t grant me credit even though I’ve fulfilled the requirements in several different runs already.
Any idea of a fix for this? I just completed Visions of Pain with no problem… and killed Astaroth before the dog came back up - but got no achievement.
It seems is better just to speed kill bosses if you are lucky and don´t have dungeon quest like kill all mobs toi get at least the seasonal rewards, beastmaster bane is not completed.
Also somebody told that you need to kill him before the dog splat the blood pool, but not convinced, it cannot be, cause the pool is not the amalgam. The 3 head dog is the amalgam, not the blood pool, so yes is bugged, since we all know the dog is the mount it gives for wow, or when you play it has no sense one shot anything, due the cerberus dog need to revive, so you have plenty of time to kill it, is not that have to be oneshoted, is just bugged.
I actually killed Astaroth and one rare elite before the pool and is the same. Just bugged, maybe logging in, still it doesn´t say that it has to be before the blood pool starts.
So is that, maybe blizzard solves this after the season…
But is better to take a run, use the clock on the game, count and try to evade everything, don´t even kill mobs, just go to bosses.
I hope is solved and everyone get the achiev. But it doesn´t give anything special, is a unique cache so, don´t expect anything more than that. We do the last seasonal quests just for the mythic drop.
Today i was finally able to get this achivement. For me it was T4 and I had a luck shot that insta killed astaroth directly after he landed. So it seems like the amalgam isn`t allowed to vanish from the screen after getting struck down and the respawn process to start even remotely. Sad that this achivement is bugged so hard and blizzard dosent seem to care to fix it. Good luck for everyone still trying for it, the others were quite a bit simpler to get.
I did all objectives, don’t know how but did all, strange but just playing solved all objectives.

Same problem here, Beastmaster’s Bane not completing even though I met the requirements.
same problem here, my party got visions of pain and beastmaster’s bane completed on the same run, but it did not work for me. I was alive and was the one who used the sigil
So I am not alone with having issues, I can do it solo just fine with my hydra sorceress under T4 and killing Astaroth well before amalgam gets back up, but nothing ever seems to count.
Description of this seasonal task is so unclear if it only suppose to work before the pool shows up which by definition means you have to do burst damage but was already mentioned being bugged even if that is achieved.
Has anyone figured out anything in regards to this bug, like a typical work-around?
Not completing for me too, cmon blizzard solve this problem!
Same with me, did it several times on T4, well before the pet could resurrect without getting the achievement. Very demotivating… Please fix it, season is already running for so long.
