Beastial Rampage

Could someone with PTR access please bring up the Bestial Rampage Key Stone Passive for Druids now that class balance is getting heavily changed. There seems to be a push to add on to the shapeshifting playstyle so now seems like the time to get attention on it. The 2 second timer that requires you to be in werewolf or werebear form still drags this passive down considerably.

Even without a lot of attack speed you will be switching between both forms much faster than every 2 seconds. With all the speed bonuses available on gear and werewolf form in particular you can become a literal blur of motion. I do not want to have to stop what I am doing for 2 seconds just to trigger these bonuses every 15 seconds.

It makes shifting feel clunky and unsatisfying. I want to shift between my roars, alternate my core skills, jam out on my claw basics while weaving in slower bears skills, etc… without being slowed down.

I feel it would be better if the passive triggers like a majority of the other shapeshifter passives where it only cares if you used a shapeshifting skill of that type recently.

I used Beastial Rampage on PTR as a mana dump with a skill like Pulverize w/ Ursine Horror to trigger Ancestral Guidance. I was hoping for this Trifecta:

→ Beastial Rampage (50% damage)
→ Ancestral Guidance
→ Natural Balance

The bug I encountered was that Ursine Horror didn’t let me trigger Natural Balance with Pulverize, even though it is technically an Earth Skill. Pulverize didn’t inherit the Earth tag upon equipping Ursine Horror. Trample with Trampled Earth aspect will trigger Natural Balance, however it is a Spirit generator and won’t trigger Ancestral Guidance.

There is no winning combination here, I was going for a Storm Claw like build, focused on certain procs.

I do agree, 1 full second for each shapeshift would probably make the most sense. Not just tapping Debilitating Roar and using your next skill in within .5 seconds, the shift has to be held for 1000ms.

That is because ursine horror is bugged on ptr such that if you imprint it, the earth tag will not be added correctly. However, if you use a dropped item with ursine horror, it will work normally.
