So is the gamepass and battlenet no longer linked . I got the ultimate on battlenet and thought i would be able to play on both devices especially since they didn’t express otherwise. And my ultimate stuff works. This is stupid because what is going to happen to my VOH characters after the season and I transfer my stuff to this common storage area. Also, this for me is a major part of keeping GAMEPASS to play D4 across platforms. I see no need for it now.
you need to buy the expansion on each platform that you play. You would have to buy it on xbox too since gamepass only gives access to the base game.
Microsoft owns both platforms now. I paid $89 for the deluxe VOH and have Ultimate GP. I think thats enough money to play the EXACT same characters just on a TV and other on a PC. Just does not make good business sense and Microsoft needs some Ws this is dumping on VERY loyal fans. I don’t see the need for GP anymore . I’ll just play the games I own on the XBOX now if I play on the device. AGAIN, not a very good selling point for the service. Just my option. Still love Diablo franchise and want it to succeed.
It’s most likely an issue with requiring separate licenses for Xbox and PC battle.net for the expansion. I’m sure eventually they will get the platforms merged or bring VoH to gamepass (probably when base D4 and VoH become a single product like D3 for console is now)
Day one games on game pass do not include any Expansions only the base game.
