Battle Pass level questions

Hey all,

After the server slam, my D4 excitement is at an all-time high. I am considering which bundle I will pre-order. The Battle Pass is a big part of the deluxe and ultimate bundles. Unfortunately, the information online regarding the Battle Pass is limited.

Blizzard has said a level skip will cost 2 dollar, but in order to evaluate if this is worth it, you would need to know how much time you safe. It makes a big difference if it is 1 hour per level, or 5 hours per level. I was wondering if anyone knows if Blizzard has given an indication how long one would have to play to acquire a level on the Battle Pass?

Also, does anyone know if the “XP/favor/fame”-required per level is constant or does this value increase as you get further along the levels (so lvl 1 to 2 goes fast, but lvl 50 to 51 takes much longer).

Any information would be appreciated.

Have a lovely Sunday and see you all in Sanctuary

Think youve misunderstood something. The level skip is not for the character, but related to leveling the battle pass faster. Which is the acellerated version at 25$

Also, the basic version with exp bonuses, crafting mats and more is free.

The premium version adds seasonal cosmetics at 10$

Also, the accelleration cannot be used to leveling the player power parts of the battle pass faster.

This should help:

No, no. I actually understood that part. Might be my description of the question, as my native language is not English. When I said ‘xp/fame/favor’ I meant the bar under the Battle Pass reward which you need to fill to get the reward. I am not sure what that currency is called.

I know there are 3 versions: Base, Digital Deluxe and Ultimate bundle. Since I want to play in the weekend of the 2nd of June, Base is no option. So it’s between Digital Deluxe and Ultimate.

As far as I understood the difference is 10 dollar and for that money you get 20 ‘skips’ on the battlepass. Meaning you can get a reward instead of grinding the required ‘xp’ for that ‘level’.

But seeing you need to fill that bar, it is interesting to know how long that takes. If it takes 5 hrs to fill 1 bar and get the reward and you can also spend 2 dollar then you know how much ‘value’ a skip has. It helps to make the decision if the ultimate edition is worth the extra 10 dollar.

Also, thank you for linking the wowhead-article. Really appreciate your help!

You get specific cosmetics as part of the ultimate edition too.

Sharp observation! I think it is just 1 extra, as the text says “plus 20 Tier Skips and cosmetic”. But it is never mentioned what it is … Don’t really get why they would say if it is a mount skin, or specific armor … Ah well. I am sure you can always update to the ultimate bundle later, even after launch. That’s what usually happens with Blizzard games.

To be more specific, you get a wings emote (which is pretty cool, having tried it in the beta), and a second unknown emote.
