Everyone knows the first set of skills available is your basic skills, but every build guide on the internet only invests 1/5 points into basic skills (w/ 2 enhancements). To add value across the board for all characters, I would like to suggest reducing the maximum ranks for basic skills from 5 to 3, while keeping the same power level, just with lower investment. This will buff each rank invested for basic skills, but keeps overall power the same.
Since they’re only use is to generate resource, make them free. Make that entire area of the skill line free.
Not every build, there’s a particular sorc build that only uses a basic skill. Yes the majority don’t of course.
However the devs also mentioned they would like to make more build options that allow the use of the basic attack to be the primary damage dealer. We’ve already gotten one aspect toward that nature, we may see more items in the future.
I think it should be reverse
All skills should gain a Cap of 8 so people can truly commit (if they want) at the behest of not getting a passive or two they’d otherwise like to have
Another suggestion/improvement is make those upgrades we choose initially weaker but levelable as well (with potential to become even better)
Let’s say:
- Bash has 10 Fortify per hit (or something like that), well make that Fortify amount be 4/8/12/16/20 instead
- Arc lash reduces CDs by 0.5 per hit against stunned opponents (make that be 0.2/0.4/0.6/0.8/1 sec)
