Sometimes bash losing target and my character just standing there doing nothing while I press the attack button where my bash it
Yep, agreed. This does happen and it’s quite annoying 
Happens all the time.
It was due to mouse on a target that you cant reach bash wise while you are smothered with mobs you cant move through.
Either pop skills that grant unstoppable kr point mouse nearer around you.
Even streamers get stuck.
It’s not just bash nor Barb skills. It’s usually melee, but not always. I’ve run into it w/a Rogue Range build from time to time. In particular around sides/corners w/large crowds around. As if you’re attempting to attack someone in the back row (but you’re really not), instead you’re trying to target in a general direction and you’re out of range or Line of sight is somehow broken.
I’ve found if I can reposition w/evade that usually resolves the issue.
Yeah seen it happen too.
I got so tired clicking with my mouse though that I have switched to just holding the mouse button down to move around and hit shift when I want to attack.
This avoids the skill caring if I have a target to hit.
w/barb bash I just use right mouse button to bash and left for ult.
Yeah if you put Bash on your left click it does that putting it right click or other key bind fixed it
i found it helps to have bash on right mouse button and rupture on left - if i get stuck i evade and that fixes it
You can fix this by using hold position, then you’ll keep bashing regardless of whether you can reach your mouseover target.
There is a trick where you can set the Hold position alternate button to, for example, Shift + 1, and pressing just 1 will also cause you to stand still as if you were pressing hold.
