Bash Barb with Shard of Verathiel - still weak

Finally I was able to find even 2 Shards.
Thought, my bash barb will be now strong again. But he isn’t. Barely could be a pit 75 boss with it.
What am I doing wrong?

Take a break. You had good run for over 1 year with crap barb gear!

yeah, bash barb is awful this season since they nerfed the multiplier from like 300% to 40% lol

And even the +600% Damage multiplier on my Grandfather doesn’t change a thing.

I’m not barb but… why can’t we all be strong. Blizzard balance team sucks. Not just on classes and class skills but also on monster balance.

My Bash barb on eternal clears 101 just fine, even tho that is lower than tha 110 i speed farmed during S4.

But if you don’t clear 75, then you are for sure doing something wrong.

The pit bosses are the problem, debuff mechanics = no thanks. My WW barb can clear trash mobs fine in 61 pit , get to boss , takes 2mins, reminds me of last seasons sorc.
basher last season was doing 60-80m crits, sucks to see this barb doing 7-8m.

It’s strange to me how people can say that they’re happy that a class is struggling. Yes Barb was op, no it wasn’t the players fault. It needed to be nerfed but the toxicity towards players who are now struggling to have fun with the class is weird. I couldn’t decide between Barb or Rogue for s5. I chose Barb and I’m trying to make it work but it’s not exactly fun. I honestly might just delete it and start a Rogue.

This season is my first time playing barb (beyond level 20). I have all of the other classes. At least during leveling, I’m not finding it weak in comparison. Built an upheaval/charge barb that’s berserk 90% of the time. I usually don’t like melee in games, but I think D4’s barb is an exception.

Maybe it’s because my starting point in this game was druid, every other class feels great.

I was bleed bash in Season 4 and it’s probably nuked, The end boss dmg is very lacking, so you can remove that “Clears 101 just fine” from my comment above

Remember this is my eternal character from Season 4.

Maybe you just need more mastwerwork stages.

Everything is 12/12. Nothing left to masterwork.
My basic damag is 568 %.

My shard deals 58 % extra basic damage.
