I was doing Infernal Hordes with my nephew last night and we had a good run to summon the boss and had some left over for the chest but when we killed him this was on Torment 2 by the way and my first kill my screen filled up with chaos armor beams when he died. My nephew however only got 1 drop, so it wasn’t both of us. So, this is either a bug or maybe a rare chance for all items to drop as chaos armor. I tried looking it up but couldn’t find any other cases of this happening. We did do a few more runs afterwards and got only 1 to 0 chaos armor to drop so it was just a onetime thing. Either way was probably the most exciting thing I have seen happen in diablo 4 other than maybe my triple mythic drop from a Unique tribute run. I don’t post that often but this seems to be rare so I thought I would share. Oh, and I am sure people are wondering yeah none of those chaos armor that dropped were useable for my build.
some as in 400 on top of the 666 used to summon him? I guess you deserve that big boost of items.
I did a 10 wave at t1 killed him got zero drops of anything form him dying (okay i got 7 yellow items) and i only had 40ish extra things left over which gave me almost not mats opening up the mats box

oh! - are you playing sofa co-op? i ask because my friend and his wife play (he is the lead) and shes a 2ndary account under him. When they get drops it seems he gets 10 to 15 drops while she only gets 1 to 3 drops on stuff, its kinda funny when they are fighting on the phone while we play.
Yes, I use a cell phone they dont know how to use discord (us old people - go figure) haha
Could be a bug, or you may have just expended all of your D4 luck for the foreseeable future. Either way, gratz. Sucks they aren’t useful for you, but typically how it goes sadly.
Yea guess bug or extremely lucky. For me 2 T2 kills of Bartuc 0 chaos armor so you got mine as well apparently

It was a 10-wave key we had about 1200 Aether at the end so the boss and the chest at the end but all the chaos items I got dropped from the boss himself. We were not playing couch co-op we play online but we are in the same house, so he came over to my room to check out all the items that had dropped for me and not him lol. As far as I know only Torment 3 and higher have a 100% drop chance of chaos armor on the boss.

Chaos armor are extra drops - so normal uniques will have dropped as well.
I actually had this happen to me two days ago. It was also on t2 (i don’t remember why i was on t2 as I’ve been running t4). I had accumulated 2000+ aether, killed him quick and to my surprise it was all green. This was on the boss kill, not the 400 aether chest.
I’ve probably done another dozen on t4 and haven’t had it happen again. Seeing this has happened to someone else on t2, i might be reverting back and trying again lol.
Same for me on the first T4 run (self solo). My run was total crap: barely hit the 666 mark 
Dropped only chaos armors!
I thinks this is nothing special, scripted some way to happen one time per character?
(I did several T1-T3 runs before, and already got some chaos armor from Bartuc . Just remembered that Bartuc also dropped for me the junk mythic lycander spear on the very first kill in hordes 
)
I just got a 13 Chaos drop form Bartuc…nothing in there I wanted in my current build. Dunno if it’s a bug or just RNG
Yeah he dropped me 10 chaos armor(basically all of his drops were pieces of chaos armor) one time.
I saw a SB in town earlier… wearing 5 chaos items… 2 of which were 2GA.
I’m like “wtf?”
I’ve had 5 chaos items drop over 3 Bartuc T2 kills… None useful.
Now in T4 with all my non-chaos gear good to go. I need 3 chaos items to perfect my build… the farm begins now.
same thing happened to a clan mate of mine, screen full of chaos items dropped, it was awesome (for him at least)
Happened to me about 2 hours ago. Killed Bartuc at T1 and got 12 drops for me, all green. My husband got zero lol
I just had this happen, so I immediately ran to Google to see if anyone else had seen this. I got TWELVE pieces, all Chaos. Of those 12, I’m keeping 8 of them, so pretty damned good for me. Just amazing. I nearly fell out of my chair.

In my excitement I forgot to take any screenshots or video recordings, but I’ve seen a video of it happening and it seems to have happened to others as well. As far as I remember he only dropped the chaos armor and nothing else, but I may have picked up other stuff like gold and materials and didn’t notice but my inventory was all chaos armor that had dropped. My guess is that it is a rare chance for this to happen sort of like any enemy can loot explosion legendries which I have also seen happen.
