Barrier HUGE nerf?

From yesterday 2300+ into 945 today.

Is this S**T intended or BUG ?

Might help to be a little more specific and provide some more details.

Where is said barrier coming from?

Is this real? I haven’t checked but I will now when I get home. I hope there wasn’t more sneak nerfs

Last 10+ days it shows 2300+ for imprint, Since yesterday its 945

Did you imprint from Codex? It was a “bug fix”. Blizzard has no problem rolling back changes on your account when they make mistake. Sorry uber unique holders, it’s coming.

O did you up the shield with upgrading per the exploit? They did fix that and it might revert those back to basics, hotwu beat me to it lol

Did you upgrade the aspect before you extracted it? That was one bug also over 85 alts could put max level barriers on lower level gear from the codex

It is a visual bug… at least it was in my case. When I actually went to put it on the value jumped from 900s to something like 3.5k

I just imprinted default codex.
Last 10 days it shows 2300+ (dont know the exact number). Since yesterday patch it shows today 945 only.

I’d try putting it on a piece of trash gear see if it is a visual bug like the last person said

Two “exploits”. One is actually an exploit, the other was a bug.

  1. The exploit. Previously, you could find a 2h or amulet with an Aspect that gains the 50%/100% bonus. You could then upgrade the item, and the Aspect would increase in power. THEN, you could extract the Aspect and it would retain the value. Example: item with +500 barrier aspect. Find on an amulet, goes to +750. Upgrade amulet, it’s now +1300. Extract the Aspect, it stays +1300. Now put it on a new item, it stays +1300 (or goes higher to 1850 on another amulet). This one was fixed early, about a week or so after launch. I actually still have a few Aspects in my stash from this that are fairly low level with some moderately high values. I haved checked them after the last patch, but they may have decreased!

  2. The bug. The Codex would yield powers set to the character level, rather than the item level it was being placed on. This fix is mentioned in the patch notes.

I don’t know which the OP did, but Blizzard obviously changed it to the proper values.

The aspect codex was scaling with lvl, it wasn’t intended and has been fixed. Deal with it.

Yep my barrier went from ~7k to ~3k. Trash game. Not playing this dog :poop: anymore. Nice “bug” fix :clown_face:s.

Like how TF are people supposed to know something like that was a bug? I was like “Oh cool some aspects get stronger if you level them”.

I got the Codex Barrier on my helmet (Lvl 100 rogue)
Barrier Computor says: yepyepyep: 3.359 - 6.718
