Barrage barely kills monsters in t4
Please buff barrage!!!
Man is it still that weak?
I havent messed around with it this season yet…
I noticed that its unique bow has a chance for triple dmg now… (up from double last season)
But yeah, it needs a lot of aspects to synergize properly thats for sure.
Maybe utilizing shadow clone will help… in conjunction with flickersteps for shadow clone up time.
Imbuements got massive buff too that can synergize dmg output for barrage. (Shadow\cold is really good combo)
Every build not utilizing Ultimates are ‘weak’ for the most part. Core skills are just enablers to reset your ultimate through preparation this season sadly.
Rapid fire it’s pretty strong without ultimate.
I just made a quick crappy build with it and pushed a pit 90 easily.
I bet it can push a 105 maybe a 110.
Strongest rogue build this season is rain of arrows.
Cleared a 125 on it.
I run barrage in T4 and can handle a good chunk of T4 content. Could probably handle more but I’m over spec’d into damage and not enough into damage reduction.
It might be your build that’s the issue since Barrage can be run in a few different ways.
Yeah. Using Barrage but simply to reset my Death Trap. Can speedrun Pit 101’s. I wish higher level Pit enemies weren’t such extreme damage sponges and that combat could return to simply being combat and not just searching for the most dps so that some arbitrary timer doesn’t run out.
Btw I have the gear for RoA but sooo boring to get the mats to masterwork again, again that can’t be buggered.
My RF rogue feels extremely weak.
I can barely do T4 Headhunts and I have all glyphs to 50, Starless Skies and 4/12 MW in all gear slots.
I’m following Maxroll guide but using poison imbue over cold. Not sure if that’s the issue but it shouldn’t be so much weaker for RF?
If you go to mobalytics there’s a build called combo rapid fire by Sanctum.
I prefer his built to the Maxroll one, since he uses Aspect of Siphoned Victuals.
This aspect will allow you to spam health pots to no end constantly triggering unstable elixir.
Make sure you’re building up your precision and combo points correctly.
Precision you need to cast 3 marksman skill to enable and combo points cast 3 basic skills.
Poison Imbuement is fine.
Takes some time to get used to it but once you do it’s and extremely fun and rewarding build.
In season 6 this was the only rogue build that allowed me to clear a pit 100.
I haven’t played it much this season but I’m 100% confident you will be able to clear a pit 110 + with the right gear.
I just got a Shako and was thinking of switching out of Preperation to Inner Sigh and using the IS aspect? It seems strong against marked targets but never tried it ever.
The core skills of all classes are weak. You have to use them as accessory to something else.
Andy / Victimized Shadow Clone Barrage sounds pretty, if only they have not added that blased internal cooldown on procs…
Playing Barrage on HC now. It’s OKish once you get gear masterworked to at least 8, glyphs to legendary, Paragon to over 230 and resign yourself to never getting past Pit 90. I think it’s fine for T4 if you’re fine with not speedrunning anything. Kind of a pity because it’s one of the more fun and what would overwise be mobile Rogue builds to play.
Finding Shadow Clone to be really underpowered compared to other Rogue Ultimates.
Shadow Clone is more or less there to give you permanent unstoppable and more lucky hit procs for Barrage.
I tested a couple of builds based on barrage, trying to maximize its direct damage.
One with skyhunter and precision, and another with windforce and cqc.
Shadow clone + vehement browler + apogeic furor + no witnesses legendary + preparation specialization (to have the ultimate always on) to buff damage as much as possible, as many ranks of barrage as possible (+20 at least, with windforce I got 30+ ranks).
The best I could do is pit 90, more or less … definitely is too weak as main skill .
The same setup with twisting blades allowed me to go well past T100
The only barrage builds that really work well are Andy’s Barrage and Beastfall Boots/Banished Talisman for overpower barrage spam.
And both of them are taking a pretty big hit to damage in S8 with the omega nerf to Fists of Fate since Creeping Aspect + Fists of Fate was holding it’s damage together, really.
