They will go from the 4th worse class to the worst class after the sorc and barb buff patch in a few weeks. Sorc will take their place as the 4th worse class in the game.
This is expected since Ninemikemike says barbs are clearly too powerful right now. They just need to be in a more sh!tty spot to make them even better.
PSA: No actual buff incoming for barb
Barbarian will get buffs. To compensate for the buffs, blizzard is going to nerf barbarians some more. So nothing changed. The one thing that will improve barbarians is legendary aspects scaling. It should scale to players stats instead of item power.
Like I said in other posts, it doesnt make sense for them to balance a successful game. You have to go play another class if you care about that. Any “buffs” will be a PR stunt focused around ensuring we do not violate their projected time gates.
Which, as a barb main, I’m perfectly fine with us being A tier for a season or 2 if it means sorc is made playable again. We were broken off the start and are now just mildly underperforming. The devs should fix sorc, fix the uniques, and then buff barbs.

You joke but be very careful with asking Blizz for “buffs”…we all saw how 1.1 turned out. I’m worried if we ask for more change that we’ll end up weaker than we are now.

And 90% nerfs to gears, modifiers, and aspects.
Barb is the worst class by far. Sorc represents 40% of the Top 10 that hit 100 first. 40%. No other class had that many. Meanwhile Barb has what, 3…5… in the top 100. What a joke. The reality is there are only 4 classes in D4. Barb is dead and looking at Dev history gives me 0% faith they will actually do anything to truly help. All they are capable of is nerfing barbs.
U got duped by the sorc crybabies to think sorc is worse than barb. All the world records for leveling are sorc held.
Barb is the actual dead last class.
The fact that hota got decimated with their bugfix and it is still by far the best build should tell you something about it.
If sorc gets over buffed even slightly too much, no one in the group will even see a mob. Sorc hyper mobility on top of insane aoe dmg will literally clear way before your party even loads in. Sorc kit if by far the best in the game, it is just being kept in check by conditionals.

After the nerfs to NM dungeons, Barb with the barber malignant heart is easily clearing NM 100’s. Haven’t seen any Uber Lilith attempts yet.
And sorc, I’ve seen a few other posters claiming they’re easily clearing NM 100 with their sorcs and the malignant hearts.
Not saying they’re not the weakest classes, but they’re still competing the highest tier NM 100 pretty easily. Hoping the buffs change abilities and aren’t simply - double swing does 10% more damage.
You guys are ridiculous.
Wait a week or two to see what the buffs are. You’re all flapping your gums about how the buff will just be a nerf and blah blah entitled baby whining and moaning.
Just go play another class or another game if you can’t wait another few days to see what is being changed. I rolled a barb from druid in preseason and I’m still having a blast. If you aren’t, consider your life choices and change.

Thats why I made this post. Saw this coming the day they announced the buff. From now on Barbs will be trash tier for the rest of this game. Its a meme class at this point.
