I’ve basically no-lifed this game since the season began. I am barely level 50 because all I do is chug potions. How can you essentially remove all defensive stats from the game without buffing Barbarian’s inherent toughness? It’s almost like you’ve never played your own game…
How can you justify charging money from people and then completely remove 20% if its playable classes?

There is supposedly a patch coming to adress the most urgent Barb and Sorc issues in early August.
With that said, people don’t seem to have trouble reaching level 100 in a timely manner with any class.
I feel your pain same as the sorc having no builds as a sorc that compete with the other classes just made me switch to druid. It’ll get fixed try the rogue its really good.

First off: if you chugged so many potions, why didn’t you stack “find potion %”?

i don’t belive blizzard will hit the mark whit barb for the next update, they just wont do it at all barb has so many issues then some on topp of that and i don’t think they are going to fix even half of the issues barb has.
It’s not that hard. Just boost Barb’s natural toughness. Period. This is stupid easy.
Idk what you’re doing, but I had an easier time leveling my barb in the season than in pre-season. Barb isn’t just playable, barb is good.
So good that a bunch of the best players/content creators/streamers/etc. made videos on YouTube right before the season came out explaining all the reasons why they won’t be playing Barb in Season 1 and/or ranking Barb at the bottom of their Season 1 tier lists.
Most of them don’t know what they’re talking about, there’s plenty of barbs popping off this season. Anyway, I wasn’t saying they’re as good as other classes, all I said was that they are good in response to OP saying they’re unplayable, which is just not true.
same issue with Necro. minions suck, we dont have mobility, no defense and now no damage. They didnt take anything else into consideration just vulnerable and crit nerf.
ridiculous, they should have changed things with all systems in mind and if nerf one thing then balance it in a way the game is playable.
With unlimited CC and resource burn NM dungeons are not possible
So Dumb so many Barb crybaby… try doing a Sorcerer other than Ice and then came back and you will love the damage your barb did even after nerf…
I play Chain Lightning at level 60 someone of my clan play whirlwind and when we compare damage there is a monstruous abyss, i deal 15k crit he deal 100k crit.
So stop coming to the forum whinning like baby over your so called Unplayable Barbarians when you don’t know the pain of us Sorcerer !

They are only buffing aspects. This will have almost no impact on the horrible state these 2 classes are in.
just because sorc is even worse that does not mean barb is ok. I am a necro and I have the same experience after patch necro is BS. So, it seems to me that you dont have experience with barb you just saw one who was probably better equipped than you

Since “good” is in the eye of the beholder, but Barb can do ok after going through the struggle. Requires picking a good build early though, but other than that then it works fine.
It’s not really what you’d call “strong” after the leveling though, but it can definitely do the post-nerfed t100 on lvl 100 after gearing up (a lot) and playing with a viable build.
But for players who just “want to have fun” like the girls (song reference), it’s not gonna go well. You can do things wrong in your build. You can do a lot of things wrong. If you don’t do it right, you’ll be dying a lot.
It’s not really a good design though, especially not on lvl 100 (the struggle was real to reach pre-nerfed t100).
Hoping for barb to get buffed, get fixed, and made into stronger than everything in melee, since it’s the only melee-only class in the game after all.
I know a lot of players will hate on me for saying it, but for the only melee-only class in the game to be weaker in melee than other classes that deals damage in range, doesn’t really make a lot of sense.
