Any console players who played WW during the betas have any input on this? I’m trying to confirm that shouts do NOT interrupt whirlwind for console players, but DO interrupt whirlwind for PC players.

Okay I have clarification on the topic now.
Shouts on PC are interrupting the WW and allowing it to recalculate damage formulas. You barely notice because the interrupt is like a millisecond.
Shouts on console are not interrupting it and not recalculating the damage formula.
What this means is console WW damage is stacking into the millions with shouts multiplying damage infinitely.

Shouts should interupt, else it would feel silly
i just remember ground stomp interrupted it in the least agile way possible lol but that’s not a shout.
felt super clunky. like waiting for the bus before it happened/finished.
i can shout without interrupting in d3 - they should fix the bug where it ramps to crazy dmg but not interrupt the ww per say.
i can yell at everyone while running around ezpz don’t know anyone that can’t yell while running.

Honestly if Shouts interrupted WW in Beta on PC, I didn’t experience it. I was still shouting while WW was up.
