Thatâs about as far as Barb can be pushed. And thatâs with some crazy gear. Seems pretty impressive, and it is. But how do you think itâll compare in T9 and T10? Also, he keeps playing down the âInvigorating Hellbornâ buff, but itâs a crazy buff. Still, one of the best s5 Barb builds Iâve seen.

Once I get the Ramaladin, I will test it without that buff. My new Barb is similar but definitely the difference is in the details.
If I can do T8 without sweating much, thatâs good enough for me. My LS Sorc with one Uber is equally powerful or maybe stronger than this, but I feel something is fishy with this Sorc.
I never considered Locran. I am glad I kept two with decent rolls. Isnât it a guaranteed item from the Locranâs quest? If yes, gotta do my alts quests to get it at Ancestral level.
The bug with Ramaladin is definitely detrimental when trying to push in Pits because thereâs no way to take it out and put it back to reactivate it because Pit wonât allow you.
Edit: As of now, I feel among my S builds, only my LS Sorc will do well in T10 if that comes.
Now if I look at the best geared S tier Rogue, Druid, Necro, I feel Lightning Storm Druid is a T10 contender.
Edit 2: Wow, they deleted my other post about my Barb experience as a new Barb player. They thought I was trolling lol. I hope this one doesnât get deleted too

barb isnt that weak, it just takes getting the gear together. the problem is barbs were so powerful previously that barb players became lazy. they expect to be doing millions of damage at lvl 30 and to clear content 50 levels higher before they even unlock paragon. they got lazy from 3 seasons of being op. they gave up and went to other classes before they could unlock the true potential.

Iâm glad I leveled Barb last since now I have most of the gear I needed. If not for that Grandfather drop when I ran with you guys, I wonât be playing Barb lol.
Game is forcing me to play Barb. I hate to turn this GF into a resplendent spark

I tried getting starless skies & Grandfather to attempt to try out the damage for myself as i explained here.

You really should not base your assumptions on the best of the best geared people.
Everyone can do good damage if you have the best gear

To get Barb anywhere near this level, you need 4 Mythics and almost perfect GA/Masterworks on every slot.
Meanwhile, for a 30 second Council kill Sorc just needs a decent Winterglass and a Starless Skies.
And you still think Barb is strong? Really man?

It was the exact opposite last season. The top sorc required near perfect rolls on gear to push the highest in pit where Barb occupied more than half of the top spots with significantly less gearing. Rogues quietly had about 6 less top spots than Barb in the top 100, but everyone was laser focused on the Barb vs Sorc drama.

Except that now when a Barb has perfect gear, they can clear Pit 130 and thatâs it, while every other class in perfect gear is in 150-ish range.
So, no actually itâs not like last season at all, it means Barb needs massive buffs or this class is dead.

Not really. I can equip all the mythics for my Firewall Sorc but it wonât budge in T7. Itâs not all about gear.
Iâd be happy if I can equip similar gear on my Barb with my Firewall Sorc and chill in T7 but I canât. Not all builds are created equal even with the best gear.

You are comparing one of, if not the strongest overall Barb builds to an off-meta Sorc build. Do you really not see the problem with this? Like what does that tell us all about Barbâs overall power level, where their peak meta build is only slightly better then Sorcs âfor funsiesâ builds?

great job for sure, but his gear is super maxed out, thats not doable for casuals at all. Plus at the stage he is at, your basically done with the season. Re-rolling on tempering that often to get it perfect and then the same for masterworking⌠man that is dedication for sure! just not worth it. Thats a lot of effort to get a 20second boss kill, where as the sorcs can already do that with bare minimum gear.

Take out LS. Compare current Barb vs the rest of the Sorc builds. Anything compared to LS is subpar.

The taking the sword off and putting it back on to at minimum 2x your damage feels like an exploit.
What he said on the video and also mentioned by someone (MurderInc in YouTube) is thereâs a bug in Ramaladin and Fist of Fate. You have to re-requip the sword to activate in every instance (kinda annoying and wonât work in Pit)
Are you acting like Barb has builds beyond WW and maybe Bash here? Try a build centred around Upheveal or Double Swing and get back to me.
Acting what? So you are saying Sorc has builds beyond LS/FO? Lol. You keep crying about Barb. Here I am trying Barb and yes itâs not as strong as Sorc but it ainât bad as you had been crying about.

I get what youâre saying but if those build suck why would you keep playing them? If your goal is not further progression then cool stick with what you like but picking a bad build and then complaining about it when there are better builds within reason available is on you.
Now the build in this video is not within reason. He has 3GA everything and triple masterworking procs and all the stats he wants to have. And the problem with these builds is people come back and say barb is fine when anyone with less than 8 hours per day to play will never be able to do that.
