You obviously didn’t bother to read anything else said in this post, since i earlier specifically said i planed to push this build on 150+ maybe even 160+ pits.
And also i min maxed a lot for that to be possible, now all that is wasted.
So yes this will effect me, hence this post being made.
154 pit cleared post “nerf”. Gears far from perfect. Due to been alt, my sorc is under 6hrs old. The nerf isnt really a nerf. Aoe is slower but boss kill is faster. If my maths is correct, i have anothet +11-15 tiers if i can be bothered in min maxing wrong mw stats.
Then check your playstyle. As said. Aoe is significantly lowered but pit performances progression only makes a smaller portion, boss kill needs more time and the “nerf” single target is better in this area. End result is clear time roughly the same depending on individual skills / experiences in generating densities.
I am sure your gears are better than mine, I have 0 GA items since its alt and only MW +12 w/o choosing the right affix to crit MW on.
Haha 'm honestly not sure how to respond to this, this is just dumb.
So why are you here crying about me, crying about this silly video game?
That to me sounds even more silly.
Seriously. Grow up.
If you read their campfire chat about this statement, they already said they wont nerf unless it caused serious issue. Even Mekuna in his stream already mention there was lag in his game play.
When you play this build, have you ask yourself why you put one point in Lightning spear only even you called it a Lightning spear build? This build is about abusing a game Mechanic Blizzard introduced post PTR which mean to buff Frozen Orb and Lightning spear. Not the Splintering Energy.
When you play a build with a mechanic which is not intended as per design, don’t expect this will last very long.
I think D4 begs to differ… I mean just look at the skill tree, its one of the most casual friendly there is. Sure there is the paragon board and aspects and what not. But they have said and its clear they are trying to appeal to the masses.
If you want an older example look at how WoW has streamlined so many things over the years. Party finder, nerfing bosses after the race, character boosts, just to scratch the surface. All in the hopes to make it easier for new players to come in and stick around. Again, sure there are somethings that are more for the top players but they are a public company. They are definitely trying to appeal to the masses, it will probably only trend even more towards this as Microsoft becomes more involved.
Show me that tier 150 pit push they nerfed for you and I’ll take your side. Otherwise you’re wayyy over reacting based on what you read. This nerf added 35 seconds-ish to me clear times.
