They were extremely clear. But some of the people who complain here don’t actually read patch notes or hotfix notes. They just read the clickbait title of a video from their favorite streamer and go into full Reee mode.

I know Sorcerers are disappointed (as a barb I feel for you) but you’ll be okay. That and I’m sure big-massive changes are coming for season 6.
I also remember the days to billions of ball lightnings killing even the biggest bosses in seconds. Season 2. That was a full season.

and notice carefully that even after the supposed “nerf”, Sorcs now are still currently more powerful then Barbs have ever been, ever.

My understanding is that the build is still killing it due to the dmg buff and that this was just a means of maintaining server stability because it was causing crashes. Is that incorrect?

Oh please, master of all games, tell us lowly masses, the hidden Barb build that allows them to shred T7-8 Hordes as well as Sorcs/Rogues/Druids.
Clearly you must know something to make up for the fact that all of Barb’s Key Passives got completely gutted, all defensive options either nerfed or just straight up removed, and most of their best class unqiues getting nerfed when they tried to “buff every old Unique in the game”
Had slowdown happen a few times in helltides because of a sorcerer spamming, but the worse was the teleport Ashava. But thinking back, I think we had two or more sorcerers spraying stuff everywhere. Lol

Never played barb, and never played meta build. Never got nerfed. I play my own build. I play the same iceshard build since s0, I play the same blood necro build since s0. I’m trying a fireball build this season with the new unique.
You have no right to cry when your op meta streamer broken build get nerf.
Same thing will happen to spear sorc.
Fair enough. Just cuz I haven’t experienced it does not mean it doesn’t happen.
Dev got bullied in high school by a sorc but the barb stood up for him a couple times. This is the result.

You have almost 300 posts on these forums… what the point of wasting your time if you hate the game this much… 
Sorc was locking the servers up. This is not so much a balance issue as a server performance issue. You are not telling the whole truff. The real balancing for Fractured SPEARglass will be after S5 is over and it will no longer reduce conjure cooldowns as they just cant leave this item like this. My guess. Not official.
it wasnt a nerf. the damage is the same.
