Barb achievements? How is Victory March even Possible?

So I am looking at the barb achievements and I see Victory March. It is the one where you use death blow 20 times in 10 seconds.

Someone explain to me how that is possible since the skill it self has a 1 second global cooldown which means it literally can only be used 10 times in 10 seconds.

Is there some way to take off the global cooldown? And then it only works if you have enough enemies around that you can 1 shot it with. This one just make no sense.

Think they meant to make it kill 20 enemies with overpower in 10 seconds.

I’d have to double check when I get home, but if you have +1 charges aspect for weapon mastery skills I don’t think there is a global CD. I could be wrong though. Otherwise, maybe CDR also reduces global cooldowns.

This achievement might be bugged, or it definitely does not work with weapon mastery aspect. I’ve strung together very long combos of it before but the game has me at 1/20. I’ve pretty much always used weapon mastery aspect.

I managed to get this achievement. The text is wrong, it shouldn’t be “use deathblow 20 times”, but “kill 20 enemies with deatblow”. Very easy to do with the “Overkill” unique that puts a shockwave in Deathblow.

Still a really stupid achievement which is basically “Did you find this specific unique?”

The counter on the achievement seems to show your last streak, not your highest. I’ve seen it change multiple times while I was trying to get the achievement. You need the unique “Overkill” to complete it. Kill 20 enemies using Deathblow in 10 seconds.

This definitely does not track on the kill 20 enemies using Deathblow in 10 seconds. This is easily seen by having a number in there that isn’t 1. Cast Deathblow with no enemies around, you will now have 1/20. It is counting casts.

This is the answer and should be top comment. read this, went out to a hell tide pulled a bunch of hot demons. the the achievement before even killing the whole group with 3-4 blows…

Yep, that’s how I got it done a while back, pure accident, just testing the unique, but I’ll take it :slight_smile:

Same here, accidentally triggered it vs spiders

Seems that overkill trigger is not counting the same way anymore as I can kill large swaths of spiders in 3 deathblows and it still only count as 3.
