Banished lord's talisman suffix gap is too wide

20% to 60%x? I have ancestral in every slot except amulet. I’ll get another mythic before I get a usable ancestral banished lord’s. I have found mythics but not a usable banished Lord’s. A usable ancestral unique item should not be harder to find than mythics. My great white buffalo. I don’t want a great white buffalo.

Fwiw, more GAs help narrow it.

True but with such high % suffix differences it can be hard to figure out if an item is going to be an upgrade or not even with more GA’s and 2 or 3GA’s are hard to come by. Seems like more so for uniques.

Know what you mean with this item in particular. A bit like FoF too.

Part of the challenge and fun of the game perhaps. Not everything is laid out and clear.

Oh, we’re 10 days into the season and the players don’t have everything they want. To me, that feels like a win.

I’m one guy I’m not the players. I have ancestral everything except this one item. It feels off. I believe this specific item may be an issue for the game whereas other uniques without such huge suffix gaps may not be.

Variety is the spice of life?

Yes, some items are poorly designed. I would say a large part of them are unique. Look at the ice pants. Their GA in new ice size exceeds 100%. This is quite useless. Among other examples.

I’ll compare this item to Tibault’s will. I just had a 3GA Tibaults will drop. My previous 1GA had 18% damage increase while unstoppable. This 3GA one has 17% increase while unstoppable. So it’s definitely an upgrade.

Compare that to a no GA non ancestral Banished Lord’s Talisman with 60%x overpower damage vs a 1GA with 32%x overpower damage. Or a 3GA that had 20%x overpower damage.

The Tibault’s will has acceptable gaps. The Banished Lord’s talisman item has WAY too huge of suffix gaps and makes it a mighty task indeed to find upgrades worthy of it to use even of the 3 or 4GA kind.

I should also mention the difference in Banished Lord’s is 20-60%x whereas the difference Tibault’s is only 10-20%x. 10%x is still a large difference but 20-60%x is an exponentially large difference. Higher GA’s are supposed to have higher suffix chances but we have seen that is not so much the case. A 32% roll as an example number is common on GA’s.
