I was tired of dying all the time with standard Ball Lightning Build. So I creat my own build to run over NM100 without dying : Ball Lightning with 100%CC and big survivability.
you just need :
- 30%CC on stuff only
- 30% with Esu’s Heirloom
- 40% with Legendary Aspect
= 100% crit chance
You don’t need Tibault’s Will or Flickerstep or Godslayer Crown to run over NM100.
You just need 150 mana : +36 with paragon board + 8/20 on stuff.
And a lot of DR for survive.
The details : https://maxroll.gg/d4/planner/0pzp0vo4
a little video :

Note : crit have now 1.5x default multiplier. But all Crit damage bonus are now additive (like bonus vs elite, vs burning, with ligthning, …). That mean, with 40%CC, 200%CD give and aditive bonus of +80%. But with 100%CC, you realy got +200 bonus.
have fun

When you mean 100% CC, when you go in a room, most of the enemies are stunned and then you just melt them?
I thought that was standard with all Ball Lightning build? That’s how I run my Balls. I checked your video. It looks similar to how I do it. When I had only 4.9K armor, I was surviving fine with that strat. Now I got like 12K, it’s even easier.
I mean I use Esu’s Heirloom + Legendary Aspect to reach 100 crit chance. I feel it more efficient than “+35% on stunt enemis” or “+40%(x) when you are unstopable”

Maybe say crit chance. Thought you were talking about crowd control duration and got confused.

Ok … I understant, I change the titel.
I am using more or less the same setup and it works, dropping Tibault’s means 1 more total armor roll and additional reductions like he said. I am running a legendary chest (Snowveiled) that synergizes with Ghostwalker on the amulet for a +38% ms, was intended for Tibault’s originally but it’s still useful for Esu’s and Ravenous, also procs with Flameshield, Teleport and Metamorphosis. I am trying to understand if the dash is enough to be close to 100% Crit chance often enough, that would free up the Elementalist slot and points invested in mana too. I prefer overflowing energy to reduce the CDs, but Vyr’s sounds better if you want to use the Raiment
I found the elementalist aspect really useful to have smoothed a lot of things out.
I also find, as per usual, sending in the tank character barb a better choice first, especially when things like disobedience requires hitting an enemy first and so it just smooths out the engagement.
Elementalist is good but requires mana investment on items and paragon, that’s why I am trying to drop it, I prefer Conceited/Storm Swell/Accelerating
