The end of the VoH campaign suggests a more tangible return of Mephisto as he has taken possession of the body of Akarat.
A weakend Prime taking control of an otherwise holy body? Shenanigans and hijinks will surely ensue. Get that laugh track ready, it’s “Everyone Hates Mephisto!”.

Mephisto was the wolf in the campaign.
Diablo is a statue outside Gea Kul. yeah, that’s it.
No word on Baal yet. I am sure he will copy/pasted in soon.

Nah I think the D4 story will be unfinished. Won’t surprise me if VoH ends up being the only expansion.
In case you missed it they are already working on the 2nd exp.
There will be at least 3 expansions after VOH. We’re in this for the long haul buds. So Blizzard better focus on improving the game and making it good. No low effort. High effort.
They will cancel it.

We will just have 2 expansions and they will relaunch D4 and rename it D5 with diferent skill system and paragon and stuff

It’s honestly perfect.
They always keep working on expansions right up until they get canceled. It’s what happened with D3 2nd expansion.

They are still in the mid of Early Access. I am sure Blizz in all their wisdom will wait till the game is in an aceptable state before they introduce any major players like Diablo or Baal.

VOH was supposed to be part of the main. They dropped it to make it seem like an expansion.

Figured as much - I remember when Diablo was a great game. I won’t be back until ALL the Primes are back in the game, just hope I’ll be alive when that happens.
