Leveling up the Essence of Sin and Essence of Hellfire is abysmal. I’ve leveled the others, but this one… oooff. Horrendous. Count me out.
Normal is the 5 its at.
The rest should be upgraded. Hard 10. Expert 15. Penitent 20. Torment 1-4 25. Actual world boss 75.
No way this should be the slog it is.
I may try the Worldly option… not sure. I’ve been slamming my face on the 3 levels on the world boss, kinda dead inside already…
Apparently Azmodan gives you 5 billion Tributes of Ascendance tho and those give you mythicals. Hell I’d just camp that all day long until my eyes bleed.
This. The best way to upgrade the essence of sin is to kill the “red” mobs in PVP zones or Nahantu. I leveled from 2 - 4 last night in about 1.5 hours spamming those zones. My build is pretty speedy but it’s not hard, just blitz around and kill everything. It’s way faster than spamming the boss.
You guys get xp from killing rares in overland?
You can level it up by killing stuff in the overworld.
I just ran around a bit in nahandu (the VoH area) and i got it from rank 3 to 4 quite fast
Park your T4 char in normal. Use eventually the numlick thingy and let him/her stay there for 3-4 hours. Hopefully some other person activates the altars regularly. If not, do it yourself then.
Best use with some minions or aura that autokills.

As i was surrounded by the 4 bosses i thought: Plz dont be like 4x Uber Liliths.
