Noticing that the “50 mana spent reduces Ice Armor CD by 1 second” does not proc if you have Avalanche procs.
Feel like this is an oversight that should be corrected.
Avalanche is literally a tool to alleviate mana use whilst retaining some dps. There are several odd points of design rational in the sorc kit but this is an easier one to predect and avoid.
Or do you actually mean avalanch somehow bugs the ability out and it wont function at all?

But if u have high enough lucky hit to where ur proccing avalanche and u have the aspect where it gives 1 additional affected spell for avalanche, you are not going to be proccing the CDR from SIS, especially because a number of the spells are <50 mana cost.
This feels more of an oversight than something than an intentionally disabled interaction, especially given that the cold builds will usually be taking avalanche instead of shatter (which imo needs a rework to be more applicable since it’s useless against bosses).

I’m not saying that it’s making these builds unplayable. But it just feels like something that should be addressed or corrected.
I played shards for a year and am a lucky hit stacking advocate, i know what you’re up to. You can take the extra cast per Avalanche proc off btw, def unneeded, just make sure you have points into frigid breeze.
If im building for a no cost spam, im not putting points into mana shield or slotting hydra as an enchant, it doesnt synergize with the thesis of what im doing, does this make sense? Thats ok, you put those points into something else useful for your build.
Def seems like poor skill planning but guess they may want avalanche to take the mystical upgrade instead or something.
