Auto completion for Altars of Lilith... seriously, who asked for that?

I guess I’m in the minority because I play a few hours a week and I still haven’t found ~50% of the Altars of Lilith. They are one of the few easter eggs in the game that give a nice little moment of surprise when I stumble across one. I hope they don’t “auto complete” it for my account. Does anyone know how they are going to implement this? Is it just for people who haven’t logged in for a while or will it apply to everyone? Honestly this game needs more easter eggs, not less.

Actually, I could benefit from that too. I have all classes at max level in Hardcore, but I never completed the altars.

I think should be some boost package or boost NPC you need to talk to. It will not automatic apply.

Meanwhile - me with 200+ grinding in this season doesn’t have a single codex aspect that is essential to my build on 21/21. What do I get as a player that has stayed loyal and played every season - other then a kick in the teeth and a ‘wear happy with the hopeless grind’.

I expect season 7 will include a more punishing tempering system - nerfs to XP - maybe you get 10xp for clearing pit 100 - but if your a returning player you get a max level character, para 300 unlocked, max’d codex, full set of mythics, uniques and legendary items with all aspects perfect rolled GAs - with perfect tempers and 100,000,000 gold and a x100 000 000 damage buff.

Devs completely out of touch with player base - all the good work of season 4 and 5 undone in season 6 - vessel of frustration!

Personally I think this is good. I hated having to spend a large bulk of the pre season 1 release having to do that. I intend to tell my friend who bought the game but didn’t have as much time to ever play to log in and grab it so he doesn’t have to slog through it when he may have a chance to play.

in bare feet!!

20 characters

I hunted down the Lilith alters in season 2 and they have been long completed

They should make a vendor that unlocks it if you want it. Similar to like a PTR vendor that gives stuff. That way if people dont want it, they wont have to get it.

They already do, you don’t have to use this auto-completion if you don’t want to.

You expected a 250 lvl Paragon boost instead of all Lilith’s Altar? :open_mouth:

Do it once and you get it complete for life. Give me a break. This is like asking to get paid for doing nothing and getting paid for doing something you will never do again. Stop complaining cause you are bummed that you actually had to do something to get a reward.

How about each statue gives the account a free user defined enchantment on a piece of gear. So eg would allow you to change an affix to a selected passive on amulet , or skill + on gloves. With 10 pieces of gear woul allow for full set of gear for 3 characters per season.

the paragon point loss can definitely break the game for you. Thats the only reason I did them to begin with. But overall I agree. I had to do that stupid grind. New players should have to as well

This is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard, but hey, if you like repetitiveness who am I to argue with you.

To be honest, I wouldn’t mind an optional one-time eternal realm reset for my account. Take my gold, my progress, my obols, my unlocked aspects (if I had any). I’ll get them again. I really don’t like the alternative of playing the game experience against the clock in periodic season resets. It would be nice to have a chance to play and collect the statues like everyone else did.
Unfortunately I had to click like an idiot to clear the quest tracker (thinking the quest was an introduction to a game feature) and without a proper warning, the peaceful and enjoyable leveling get ruined. I never wanted the boost or altars to be completed and now every character (after i erased the one i made the mistake with) has the collection of all altars done. It ruined it and I bought the game with the expansion recently, thinking about exploring each of the features it brought step by step. But at the moment it’s no longer possible.
I asked a GM if there was a chance to undo the boost if you don’t want it and want things as they were before it, but told me that it wasn’t possible for them to undo it (at least for the GM, who was very respectful and apologetic about the situation). But if we’re honest, it’s not really impossible for other people working at Blizz to undo. It’s just an “I don’t care if you don’t like it, just take it” situation, because who cares if the vast majority don’t care? right?
I won’t pay for the game on a new account again, it’s an unnecessary waste of money. But to be honest, I can’t play and enjoy the game, it feels bad to have things skip like that.
Hope one day i could revert this, if not… well… It was good while it lasted. Had to be more careful.

I have all the Lilith and other rewards long before they destroyed my eternal characters gear… So what reward was this again? This is no way replaces hours of gameplay to obtain what they destroyed in a single “update”…

sounds great for my buddies that still play and my godson, they still havent found them all.

Probably everyone excepted you? Spending about two hours riding over whole map with lilith map at second monitor was hardly a pleasant expierence.

But hey, noone stoping you from doing that every other week. Where is the problem?

It is that hard to make them more viable?

Maybe when you are near a trail of petals like lilith in story mode?
Maybe they can even make them random in each season and put way less altars, put the trail to follow, put an event when you activate it, a spawn of demons with big demon at the end.

It shouldnt be that hard to make them good and fun.

Oh no, it doesn’t come close to proper compensation. It was just a nice peace offering, especially if you claim it multiple times. There’s a common bug where the gift mission will reopen even for characters that have already claimed it. Just make sure to stash your gear first and remember where your skill points went. (It won’t reset your paragon).
