When I alt-tab, and return to the game, the volume is significantly louder. That said, as soon as I open a menu or the map, it reduces to about 50% volume again. This is repeatable, all settings are set properly. It only happens with this game. Very confusing.
Try Bug Reports or the Technical support forum.
That is weird. I alt-tab all the time and keep my master volume on 10%, and haven’t had any issues so far. Definitely try bug reports.
I have the same issue now after resetting my PC, been driving me nuts as it never happened before. Has anyone found a solution?
rightclick on the volume icon and open the computers volume mixer. see what your computer setting for the program is. it more than likely is not d4 doing it but windows. i experience at times also because i have discord running as well and it will lower the volume of one of the programs
I’ve checked these settings, right now my volume is set to 20/100 and for D4 it is showing 100/100. But when I alt tab back into the game, my volume shoots up to 50/100 every time.
This happens with every audio device I use and doesn’t happen with my other games, only D4 right now.
