I’ve run into an issue after completing talking to Lorath in Kyovashad when the audio cuts out over Discord as well as OBS. I cannot hear anyone over Discord. When I bring focus to OBS, my audience tells me they can hear me over my stream but not over Discord. When I bring focus to Discord and exit the call and then re-enter a call, audio returns. The audio for the game is fine unless I remove focus from it, which is normal. When I restart the game, I am able to hear and speak in both Discord and OBS for a short while (20 minutes) before it to cut out again and I can’t hear anyone and no one can hear me. The audio over Discord stops whether I’m sharing my screen of my Diablo IV gameplay on Discord or streaming on OBS. I had no issues streaming or talking over Discord on 18-Mar-2023 before completing Lorath’s quest in Kyovashad which opened up the game world to multiplayer.

I think I’ve found a fix for the issue. First I turned off the mic option in Battlenet (Options → Game Settings → Voice Chat → Input Device → “None (Disable Microphone)” ). I also uninstalled Nvidia Broadcast from the Que software that I use for my wireless HS80 Corsair headset.
