I’m gonna do a thorns build for VOH, so don’t really care about attack speed in terms of DPS. I do want to be able to spend fury as fast as possible for HP and fortify (Invigorating fury, Warbringer node). Should I invest in attack speed just for that? I did try testing the time it takes to spend all my fury using WW (using WW for the sticker thought aspect) with a two handed weapon, then dual wield, and I honestly noticed no difference.
Just use Power Kick. It dumps all your Fury, gives Berserking, Vulnerable, and has a Core Skill Tag.
There’s a new node that gives Fortify if you use a Weapon Mastery skills. Steel Grasp is a Weapon Mastery skill.
You can actually build a fairly hilarious Shattering Steel Steelgrasp build that is virtually unkillable between Soulbrand and Unbroken Chain. Always Vulnerable, always Berserking, Max Fortify always, Barrier with Conceited pumping out Shattering Steel and occasional Iron Maelstrom. Lucky Hit procs with GA Lucky Hit FoF for some cheeseball damage.
I have not tested it, but it seems like IM procs Unbroken Chain’s DR every time you press the Skill button and not just the 1st cast. This means you can maintain that CDR almost indefinitely.
I think I saw that get mention somewhere. The new IM means we can spam other skills while the timer counts down. So we can delay the entire use of IM. Considering that IM damage buff temper affix, that build might be something worth looking into.
That is what I am thinking. S6 I will either go Ground Stomp / Power Kick Brawling spam or Steel Grasp / IM / Lucky Hit procs.
