Any Frenzy Barbs out there noticing that not matter how much you add to attack speed stat it seems to go up to a certain speed and not increase visually?
Finally after getting a lot of good Uniques but none really for my build I got Battle Trance amulet - when I check Abilities it’s saying I should be getting 100% attack speed but honestly I’ve not really seen a difference… also rocking +62.4% basic att spd and additional 7.1% att spd…also 3 points into Duelist which is another 9% and expensive attribute point wise
I think it’s bugged tbh

Yes, I have noticed the same thing. I noticed when I add Accelerating Aspect to my 2-handed weapon, I’m supposed to get a 50% attack speed increase when I crit with a Core Skill. I can see the icon proc’ing when I crit with the core skill, but my Frenzy attack speed stays the exact same. I’m also using other attack speed items and the Basic Attack speed aspect.

Yeah it’s kinda sucks so I think Attack Speed vs Basic Attack Speed have different speed caps and work independently to a point … Basic being 60% - Even with Battle Trance amulet I don’t see my Frenzy increasing to 100% like it should - seems to just sit at 60%.
Not sure what Attack Speed cap would be probably does work with Frenzy’s BAS up until 60% then only works for all other skills - very difficult, also expensive to find items that boost this stat largely enough to experiment with.
If any other Barbs out there know more about this please can you take a couple mins help a fellow wanderer out

Also noticed Frenzy damage isn’t really doing what it should be doing per weapon swing … ie:
Frenzy damage for me is atm under abilities is around 4K so should be approx 2k per weapon hit … I’m seeing the “white” damage numbers all coming in at 1k/1.5k very few times does it proc up to 2k…and I’m seeing the “Yellow” for critical’s usually coming in 2k then 1 out of 10 times it’ll jump to 4K doing the damage should be doing so not sure what’s going on there-but definitely feel like it’s not working 100%
I believe it was capped in all the previous Diablo games so it’s probably got a cap in D4.
Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s capped now tbh - need to try find out what the cap limit is for BAS and for AS so I can tweak and balance my build and aspects
