Hi folks,
There is a crippling bug which reduces the attack speed while playing couch co-op. This is a significant bug which happens to one of the two players usually at random and affects any hero combination. Because I believe this is not getting the attention it needs, I have also recorded the bug at play.
Please fix this bug. Currently playing on PS5… not sure if other consoles have the same issue.
As far as the community, if you guys find a miracle workaround, please share.

Well, I can vouch that this is a problem as I have reported the same issue… would be nice to get dev feedback if its going to be fixed or some acknowledgement. It is quite a downer to see wasted affixes, etc. related to attack speed.
Who gets affected will switch between the players in different locations of the map and dungeons but ALWAYS there will be one player crippled.
Still no fixes for this?..

On barbarian split screen as soon as we port somewhere my atk speed is cripled unable to enjoy the game… Its make me nervous

Many updates with vague details and we still do not see any improvement for this bug. It really sucks.

May 2024 and still on-going… Using 2-hand weapon is even worse. Very disappointing that there does not seem to be any help on this topic as far as I can see.
For me its always player 2 having the issue. Can’t move forward and melee attack, it just stutters back and forth while shaking the screen. Disabling crossplay for both doesn’t help, changing ISP doesn’t help. Been like that from the beta.
It’s a game breaking bug making couch co op unbearable to play. I just want to play the game with my GF. Please blizzard, address this issue.
New season but still same bug…
Can’t believe there’s still no fix for this, this is genuinely gamebreaking for many builds. My attack speed literally halves when I’m playing in local co-op which completely breaks all procs and makes boss stagger bars so much harder to fill.
The only fix is to have the second player log out and in again EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU ZONE.
Ridiculous that some of these completely gamebreaking bugs haven’t been fixed, the necro minion bug is another that’s been going on since launch and completely breaks minion builds.
Quitting and joining back in as player 2 doesn’t fix this - it can simply pass this bug to the other player. There’s always either player affected by this. For a moment I thought I fixed this by going back to town to “sync” the second player properly, just to find out that the bug was just passed onto my own character from player 2…

Yeah it’s heartbreaking. I keep asking Adam Fletcher if the devs are aware of this, but he seems to ignore all my tweets
I appreciate you trying to reach out. I do not seem to have that level of patience for this game anymore.
New patch, same old major problems. Still attacking at super handicapped speed. Noticing this new patch also does not read several of the skill commands in co-op. It is less responsive to any commands.
I have good news - at least they finally acknowledged that they’re aware of the bug and are working on a fix
