At this point lets just go full D3

Pit leaderboards, character progression past 100, boss leaderboards, AH, remove the stupid armor/resistances caps. For the love of god ARPGs are supposed to be sweaty games not this casual BS that you’re done after a few days. D4 endgame is still boring and feels pointless. Who the f…k even do gauntlets? worst type of competition possible, pits aka Greater Rifts should be the measure of how much effort you put in the game. D3 wasn’t perfect but it was more fun than D4.

D3 was aweful and far more casual then D4.

D3 had the shortest season Ive seen in arpgs. They were designed the someone looking for a weekend seasonal game.

Dont know if this is a troll post but it does read that way.

You probably didn’t even play D3 or maybe just for a few days a season. D3 was probably the most sweaty ARPG pre 150 GR became a joke. People would farm paragon for weeks/months in order to push their best GR.

The last time I played D3 I was max level in 15 min, over 700 para in 120 GR by the 4th hour.

Paragon was one of the worst systems created making gear irrelevant. Lets not forget the unmitigated disaster of power creep flavor of the month I-Win sets. I understand there is a market for that but I do prefer arpgs with a loot hunt and more then GR then my eyes bleed.

There are a lot of crazy stuff being said here, but this one? Like, what is the rationale behind this demand?

Regardless of pre or after GR 150, D3 infinity paragon destroyed the game so much that in the end loot was not the most important thing in a loot game. This was acknowledged and changed in the game recently.

I mean, D3 is still receiving seasons why don’t go and play it?

because leaderboards became pointless after everyone reach gr150.

Obviously because of the inevitable 1-shot party The Pit becomes somewhere around Tier 75-100 depending on class and build. If you aren’t running Tier 100+ of The Pit yet, hold your response until you are.

Limits survivability leading to the one shots everyone is complaining. I think itemization should be something not so simple to solve like cap this and that than stack this as much as possible.

Sure, after they added the system that have broken the game completely… And it looks like you want it to be brought to D4 so it can break the game here too?

Really, where is the fun in adding stats upgrades forever that eventually breaks any meaningful thing in the game?

There was no pre GR 150. GR 150 was always the limit, what happened was that the power creep due to demands like “remove the resistance cap” and infinity paragon scale made it easier and easier.

I said d3 was far from perfect and having a cap to an endless progression system is trash.

Gear irrelevant… I win sets.

Which one is it? Cause it can’t be both. And if you think gear is irrelevant in D3, you are surely mistaken, proper gear still makes a huge difference even at 7-8k paragon.

It feels like you are overestimating the amount of power you get from paragons in D3.

If I get to this point it would also be ok, it would mean I hit a wall, maybe from that point I would need to change something.

It can be me, maybe I am not that hardcore to do what is needed to pass that challenge, and that is ok.

Or maybe I need to change my build or something I am doing, because it was not enough.

Regardless of the situation, it should be possible to do 100+ since all classes have people doing it I believe (only one I have not seen yet is sorcerer, but I assume it too, otherwise more people would be complaining specifically about it here). The question will be, do I want to do that to be able to overcome the challenge?

Also, in any way, by that time I would have played basically everything the game has to offer, only pinnacle win missing, and pinnacle only means something if it is in fact pinnacle, so…

No they aren’t supposed to be like that at all.

So basically you truly want to bring what destroyed D3 in its infinite and worst form to D4, even acknowledging that this eventually bricked the game making GR 150 trivial.

Yeah, let’s go, remove items all together and add a big W button on top of it, nice :+1:t6:

You’re clearly clueless and it’s a waste of time responding your posts, but let me tell you this, what destroyed d3 wasn’t the system, but Blizzard itself, by not adding content to the game for 2+ years.

OK, so you’ll probably quit the game when you start getting 1-shot.

Seems you actually understand the problem but felt the need to provide a defensive response anyway.

When you get there you’ll learn that there’s nothing you can do to stop getting 1-shot in terms of stats. Your best hope is to change to a glass cannon build and bang your head against The Pit over and over again wishing for good shadow boss RNG attack patterns. That’s how people are progressing it, a pure battle of attrition… plus a few bugged builds that are technically exploits.

They can be both, Want more challenge? Then play hardcore. What I or (We) don’t want is another POE. Mindless and most often pointless grind and die game that only people willing to “Pay up” ever progress in. If we Humans are not perfect, And those of us with a normal brain will admit too, Then neither is anything we create.

Sure, really cool a infinite upgrade to damage forever… Sure it have not destroyed the game with a bunch of power creep on top of it.

I played D3 from day one until seasons 20 something and have seen different power creeps being introduced and paragon system evolution there. I can tell paragons eventually have broken everything, they acknowledged that by changing it recently.

NGL you give off vibes that you were a botter in D3 and you just want infinite levels and progression so that botting your way to the top of the leaderboards is possible again.

Botters were the ones that benefitted most from infinite progression/Paragons. We don’t need that again.

We don’t want Botterboards in D4 thanks.
