Aspect's stat changed after extraction

Hello,

unfortunately my Aspect “Rapid Offensive Aspect” changed to a lower stat after extraction.

Details:
Actually i have the aspect “rapid offensive aspect” (the basic version from the respective dungeion) in my focus. (Stats: 15% possible range: 15-30)

Today i found the same aspect in a better version on a sorc stab. (Stats: 34%, possible range: 30-60). Not a high roll but for sure better then my current one, so i choosed to extract it from the stab and put it into my focus.

But after extraction of the aspect, it changed to a lower valued one (Stat: 18%, possible range: 15-30).

Or is this random?

For the moment i will let the “new” aspect in my inventory.

Was it from a weapon you extracted? Weapon increase weapon aspect stat 100% and amulet 50%

understood. Yes it was a weapon. But why doesnt it work if i put the aspect “rapid…” (the basic version from the dungeon) into a weapon?

I tried it and its still 15%, possible range: 15-30.

Is it because this doesnt work with imprinted aspects?
Or isnt working with the basic codex aspect?
Or still a bug?

My understanding is that only 2h weapon gives boost.

I’ve gotten about 4 different legos with the same power, blood lance % to blood lance again on hitting lanced enemy. Every single one dropped to the lowest part of the range when I extracted. and we are taking D4 % here not real %.
My test subject was one that dropped to 10% on extract. It fires more like 1%.
Like, for comparison:
My basic hemorrhage is supposed to drop blood orbs 20% of the time, it’s really just 1% at best.

This would make sence, since you can have two aspects with a 1h weapon + Off Hand

I have just experienced this behaviour personally.
My understanding of what should happen is as follows:

I have an Amulet with [Defensive Aspect of the Protector] on it the BARRIER value as around 810 HP.
I decided to destroy the item and extract the Aspect at the value above thence reapply the aspect to my newly chosen Amulet.

HOWEVER: When I extracted the Aspect it dropped to a 540 point Barrier from a 810 HP barrier.

We obviously have a bug here where Extracted Aspects do not always extract at the value of the item chosen.

What we (the community) undertand about the process of extracting aspects is incorrect.

We need BLIZZARD to clarify.

OK the penny has droped!
I have just reviewed the extracted Aspect in my inventory.
The base value is as i have stated ‘…create a barrier of 540 strength for 10 seconds. etc’
below that it adds ‘the power is increased by 50% when applied to an Amulet’.

Ergo: 'The Diabolo is in the Detail! 540+270 = 810.

So, if the aspect is then imprinted on the same type of weapon it was removed from it will restore the previous stats?

I want to Clarify on this,

I’m a Whirlwind Barb that uses the Dire Whirlwind aspect on my 2H Mace for the 100% Aspect bonus.

Today I got a MUCH lower level 2H Mace, but the Dire Whirlwind Aspect was literally double the percentage of my current Imprinted Aspect.

When I took it to the Occultist and previewed the extract of this lower level 2H Mace with the better aspect, it was cut in half in the preview menu.

I read this post, and out of curiosity, extracted it anyway and applied it to the 2H Mace I have equipped.

CONCLUSION:

It did in fact NOT cut the stat in half. When applied to the 2H Slot again, it was bolstered back up to what it was originally showing on the lower level 2H from earlier, due to the 100% bonus.

SO!

As long as the item bonus (50% on Amulet, 100% on 2H for Barb idk if that’s universal), you will get the better stat if you extract and apply.

Bruh they screwed me too. The legendary weapon was 9 piercing @ 10% less cost. After extraction it dropped to 4 @ 20… WTF is that sh1t!!!

Do you view it before extracting in its window? Cause i do and i never had a problem.

How else would I know the stats if i didn’t view it…

I just extracted Conceited Offensive Aspect that was 32% increased damage when you have a barrier active. After extraction its now 16% with a range of 15-25%. Prior it was like to 50% I have not imprinted it on to another two handed weapon so not sure of the outcome but wish they would clarify a bit more on the percentages after extraction to make it a bit more clear.

On 2 handed weapons, the bonus is doubled, on amulet it has a 50 % bonus increase. So if you imprint it again on a twohanded, youll get back high stats.

Hello,

I did the math and no, it´s lower than before. I have an aspect that says Your marskman skills have a 10% change… of doing 2909 damage. Before extracted it was 5900, and I know that because I have another with 5000 so I wanted that better stats. I did the math and 2900+50% is 4365, not even close to what I had before extracting.

I extract a Hitting elite grants barrier 6381(3191-6381) tier 2
it extracted to 4254(2127-4254) tier 1
How are you suppose to extract stronger aspects this way?

If it was on a two handed weapon it is doubled- extracting cuts the stats by half

I was extracting the aspect from an item., not placing. it was an armor that had it.
