This season I have been trying to follow a build guide for the Paladin. It seems we are no longer going to be able to follow the content creators builds. I have not gotten even one of the 8 to 10 aspects needed for the build.
How are you getting your necessary aspects this season now that we are not able to farm specific aspects?
Wut? Do you understand the game or what a build guide is, at all??? Guides in S14 will still be present, theyâll just be written based on Aspect (Codex/Unique/Mythic) and stat priority.
Try playing in T1+.
Either that, or you are severely misunderstanding âwhat you needâ versus âwhat you wantâ. You donât need perfect top Codex Affixes to play a build.
You were never able to farm them. In this Season, itâs actually far easier to get Aspects. Protip: use the cube to upgrade items to Legendary. By targeting specific item types, you can limit the Aspect pool, as well as use Tuners.

I am T1 and Yes I used to be able to go to a nightmare dungeon to get the aspect I needed for the build. Now that is not possible. I did just randomly find the 1st of the aspects recommended by Divine Arbiter of Justice Endgame Build from Mobalytics.
Now I remember also why I never liked making posts in this rotten forum. Nobody helps they only ridicule and bash you for asking questions.

Sorry to say but thatâs the internet world. Most if not all forums are like this. Itâs the power of anonymously.
But yeah they changed the way aspects are done in the expansion. Not they just randomly appear on items now. The only way to get them is to either farm them or use the cube to change rares into legendaries.

And it will be this that will inspire Blizzard to do something about this. Not us complaining about it.

People are like this offline, too, and it is only getting worse.
And i agree with the above poster. This forum, in particular, seems to revel in unnecessary drama and lacks in both helpfulness and game related discussion. Itâs very difficult for someone to come here looking for an answer.
Well, You are here reveling in the drama too. Mr I hide my profile.
I did help. You failed at reading. Here, Iâll quote it:
There ya go. I realize a guide no longer spoonfeeds the player with this information like a baby bird, but that is the answer you seek. Play on T1 at least (many Aspects are locked until T1 difficulty and will not drop prior), use the cube + tuners to obtain Legendary items, salvage (or equip) for Aspect.
If my bearing offends you - feel free to seek advice from these so-called guides. They served you oh so well previously that you had to come to the forums!
Youâve been on the forums and playing Diablo 4 since 2024 at least. This isnât your first rodeo of a season. And notice exactly zero of the other posts in thread provided any actual answers. Weird, huh???
To be fair the protip was all you needed yo post. The other stuff wasnât needed especially the: Wut?? you donât understand game or build at all??? part.
Just saying. Not bothered myself but stuff comes off differently to others. have to remember that.
Unless youâre ok with receiving it too?
One of the worst to help is MikeDanger (Mr I.T.) lol.
The poster has been playing for 2+ years, and is using an âendgame build guideâ and doesnât understand the cube or Aspects. So yes - I believe that part was warranted to highlight understanding. The easy-going, hereâs the information obviously didnât take; otherwise the poster would have gleaned it from the guide.
Maybe donât use âendgame build guideâ when not actually prepared for âendgameâ. Instead, Iâd recommend further guides like:
- Diablo 4 for Beginners
- Introduction to Season 13
- The Cube and You - Not Just Bullion
- Affixes, How Do They Work?
- Cliffnoteâs Guide to Codex (updated S13)
- Professor Lorathâs Handbook for the Recent Nephalim
- Conquest of Lillith
- Soulstones and You
There are many methods you can use to get Aspects. Iâll list some of the more obvious stuff, but ultimately it just comes down to âplay the gameâ and youâll get what you need, in a reasonable time frame.
(Spoilers: you donât âneedâ the optimal setup to function. Make do with what you have until you obtain All The Things.)
Most obvious point, progress up the difficulty tiers as quickly as you can manage, because, drop rates for the more desirable things improve substantially as you ascend. Unlike previously, itâs not enough to just get to T1. The drop rates there are still very bad. It starts to improve markedly from say, T6 onwards. Which isnât too hard to get to.
To get there, you obviously need some stuff, so, for aspects in particular, since legendary drop rates are nerfed across the board, you need to use any and every method to obtain enough to get started.
- Gamble for legendary items at the OBOL vendor
- Buy items and caches via bartering at the den
- Use the cube (add affixes to white/blue items till they hit rare, then upgrade them to legendary, then extract the aspectâŚ)
- Do UC and Horde runs if you have to (yeah I hate it too, too bad)
It takes longer than before to acquire the aspects, but you get them at a reasonable rate if you use all of the methods available.
Yes I agree with this part.
Heâs worse than Shivera on this part. Hope posting his name didnât cause the candyman effect. haha
