I have a Vessel of Hatred Item. It has an aspect I need to learn however it does not have the acquire aspect on salvage tag. The item is extremely under levelled but I really want to keep the aspect. If I salvage it will I attain it even without the salvage codex tag?
Weird it doesn’t have the tag. Have you checked your own codex to make sure you don’t already have it?
all aspects can be acquired via salvage. Some only via salvage where others you can acquire the base aspect from a dungeon.
@Nightprowler – yes, i do not have it in my collection.
@Bwarez – Im firmly aware that you can get aspects from either source. My question is that the aspect on the item does not say I can acquire it. So If i salvage the item and I dont get the aspect then I dont have the ability to use it.

hm… thats weird. id assume its just a display error then. Sad thing is you wont be able to find out without trying it :S

the salvage and upgrade symbol also doesnt show in the blacksmith menu?

IDK why its not working for you. Its a barb aspect on a barb, and its not yet unlocked. My only guess is a bug where its not yet unlocked its not showing it as an upgrade even though it should.
Might just have to salvage and hope. Really shouldn’t take that long to find again, use oobols and caches from the den if need be.
