I imprinted a perfectly rolled Protector aspect on a helm of mine which imprinted the exact value of the barrier that had the imprint rather than the highest roll of the aspect. This seems rather broken as other aspects that rolled their max stat actually roll the max value again.
This is so confusing if this is not a bug and makes this aspect literal crap to keep if you don’t use right away.

Is yours even triggering? I imprinted the aspect to an amulet for my Sorc and it no longer triggers at all. Very disappointing.
Yeah, it still triggers. I’ve since over written it with a higher level one. As the game is currently coded it seems like you have to get an item level 800+ with this aspect at max stat for it to actually be the maximum barrier of 6987.
I have an amulet lower than 800 with 9,2k barrier that is not proccing, you’re saying that if I put it in a 800+ amulet the 9,2k barrier will work?
All I can say is that the aspect pops for me, I see my barrier all the time with the current setup.
But does it reach the full amount? Mine procs but with a very low amount compared to the 9,2k it should be
I’m having a similar issue where I extracted a max roll, but low item power item of Aspect of the Protector showing something like "1,606 [815 - 1,606], and the aspect’s power imprinted stayed at 1,606, now showing “1,606 [1,616 - 3,233]”. Normally I would expect it to scale up to 3,233 due to my item’s higher power. Is this working as intended?
Seems strange that the percent based aspects that have a max roll on a low item power piece of equipment would remain best in slot when attached to something with a higher item power, but items with aspects that have static numbers for barrier or an ability’s damage wouldn’t scale at all when placed on a higher item power piece of gear.
