Originally, aspect of the Great Feast had 125% increased damage, now it is 45%…
This aspect has a big trade off with minions, since it will burn your essence very fast.
If you are not using the new aspect aura to cast curses or using a basic skill to generate essence, you will be limited to skills with no cost.
This should be revised…
im pretty certain that these things cant really be nicely discussed right now.
especially if you use auto corpse explosions you do have a solid essence income due to your passives.

I just ask that you try out your theories when the new season starts and see how it goes, then come back and give a follow up post. I’d be curious to see your results. Until that time though, these are just assumptions with no regard to other nerfs to the base game, not just skills/aspects.

To me, generate essence with corpses vs the essence drain from aspect, will turn the gameplay very cluncky (no matters if you use auto cast ring or not).
Necros already need alot of aspects to work, and Greast Feast probably will turn the curse aura mandatory.
Probably we will not be using blight to get the % damage to minions, which is another trade off to some variants…
that is honestly the only thing im personally worried about myself. yea, you are right, i mean pretty much every necro build needs a ton of aspects. right now i cant really imagine how ill build my necro either.

Blizzard tries to sell Bone spirit for multiple seasons now. The build still has flaws hence scores lower on Blizzard’s ideal metric obviously. Therefore any end game viable builds possible affect BS usage rate needs to be controlled.
45% always-on multiplicative damage for any build is pretty strong, though. At 125 it was just going to be absolutely mandatory on all builds. It might be harder to pay the essence cost on a full minion build, but also if you are using a full minion build maybe you don’t need to use essence at all.

Rob renamed it aspect of the small feast LOL, seems more fitting.
