Aspect of the Changeling's Debt several bugs

I’ve found several bugs with the Aspect of the Changeling’s Debt effect.

  1. Poison being consumed and dealing damage by this legendary aspect is able to crit (the damage numbers turn big and orange indicating a crit), but the crit does not do bonus damage.

  2. The passive ‘Toxic Claws’ which applies a poison when werewolf skills crit is unaffected by Aspect of the Changeling’s Debt.

  3. Poison Creeper’s PASSIVE attack is also unaffected by Aspect of the Changeling’s Debt. (This might be intentional.)

  4. The ‘Suppressor’ affix on elites causes poison damage consumed by Aspect of the Changeling’s Debt to deal no damage, even when inside the circle.

Please fix some of these, this legendary allows for such a cool build, but it has so many bugs :frowning:

I have also noticed everything that you have listed here. Thanks for reporting this bug. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

I particularly want them to fix the crit portion as it’s one of only two ways (that i know about) to scale dots for druid.

#4 is specially bad for this build… please fix

It would be really cool if they devs would at least acknowledge that a bug report has been added to a list to fix or something. Its really hard trying to build around stuff thats bugged (not just this aspect) with no idea when it will be fixed or if its working as intended.

I can respect the amount of work and and complexity some of these issues have, but communication seems to be a weak point for game devs. And I don’t just mean blizzard.

Aspect of the Blurred beast also suffers from this problem

I can confirm the results of others in this thread from my own testing, in that specific poison applications are not consumed / does not do damage by a werebear attack (Maul) as expected from the Aspect of Changeling’s Debt.

Passive poison applied from Poison Creeper is not consumed.
Toxic Claws poison damage is not consumed.
The poison damage applied from the third attack of Raging Shred is not consumed.
The poison damage applied from the dash attack of Shred applied by Aspect of the Blurred Beast is not consumed.
The damage dealt when consuming the passive poison damage for Poison Creeper is based on the base active time (3-seconds). The damage does not scale when the dot is increased to 6-seconds from Ferocious Poison Creeper.

Can confirm that the poison applied from Fierce Claw and Rabies are consumed.

I could not test other applications, such as the Rabies applied to wolf companions via the aspect as I did not have access to those.

So todays patch still didn’t fix this issue. Grrrrrrr

At least there was some improvement to posion builds in general, but without aspect of changeling debt, it’s still very much lacking. Hopefully they do an aspect fix release soon.

Can also confirm the reported problems with this aspect.

I Am currently loving this poison bear build I’ve got but fear to try it in hardcore because suppression is such a death sentence. It nullifies the poison damage for all mobs in the circle, you end up having to run around and kite while the poison ticks.

This does not seem to work for the poisons applied by toxic claws or passive creeper, but does work for active creeper, rabies, and 3rd shred.

I can only confirm all mentioned Bugs are still there.
Critial dmg having no impact on dmg seems to be most game breaking, it makes reliable scaling impossible.

All those Bugs plus broken design of Bestial Rampage are making duo shapeshift builds un-fun to play around(What does Bestial Rampage need! - #18 by Player1-1842).

Edit: Is it only me or Vulerability is also not scaling properly with this aspect, anyone got any experience with it?
Edit2: Ok at least Vulnerability seems to work on my initial tests.
