Aspect of Star Shards Drop Rate Complaint

I don’t know if each different aspect has a different drop rate, but it definitely seems that way, because now for the fourth season in a row, Aspect of Star Shards hasn’t dropped for me below level 50, and I’m seeing many other Rogues complain about this each season too.

If it has been purposefully designed this way, it is insane, as it is literally the enabling aspect in the most common Rogue LEVELING build. What use is it when this aspect doesn’t drop until you’re almost fully levelled and looing to transition to an endgame build? Aspect of Star shards literally makes the difference between struggling to one shot in Expert, and Easily one shotting in Penitent.

Side note: I personally love DoK so much that I play it as far as I can take it into the endgame, but the process of levelling to 60 with this build is so hindered by the fact that it’s main aspect has such a terrible drop rate. Most Rogues don’t play DoK as an endgame build like I do either, so for them it is even more of as reason to just not bother levelling with what is clearly supposed to be the fastest and most fun Rogue levelling build.

What makes you think they want you to 1-shot Penitent content while leveling?

Gettin the best top notch aspects has been the chase every season. Nothing new here.

Uhh idk, maybe having an OP leveling build in the game in the first place?? You clearly didn’t comprehend at least half of my post.

Go flurry until you get the aspect. You can get encircling blades aspect from a dungeon. Use the morph that dashes you to your target while it also heals you. Take inner sight as your specialization also use shadow imbue and take the passive that returns energy per kill. Take all the passives related to sustain and you can literally blink all around the map faster than a sorc with unlimited teleport.
