Aspect of Giant Strides allows easy mode leveling

Not sure if anyone else is using this, but I felt its worth sharing.

If youre not familiar, Aspect of Giant Strides reduces the cooldown of leap by 3-5 sec per enemy hit up to 9sec. Basically if you roll 3 or 4, you need to hit 3 enemies for max cd reduction and if you roll 5 then you only need to hit 2 enemies. This aspect is great in conjunction with Walking Arsenal Key passive, and the brawling passives (immediately to the right of leap on the skill tree).

Assuming you are using a basic and core on different weapons, you can set it so leap will be your 3rd weapon. With the CD reduction from the aspect you can have less than 6s cd on leap. This gives you an easy way for permanent uptime on WA.

In addition, with 3 stats in battle fervor and a bit of additional berserk duration you can get permanent uptime on berserk.

Perm uptime on WA and berserk seems pretty good to me. I didnt even bother looking into this further because i was always planning to do a different build. I used this build with success until level 70 when i switched. There was no need to switch builds, I couldve kept going with no foreseeable issues.

Is this build good at endgame? Im not sure. I just think people are overlooking this aspect as useless when it basically gives you 100% uptime on WA for free and for minimal investment 100% zerk uptime. It’s tremendous value for the investment.

You can mix it with the aspect that gives you More dmg on leap after you do dmg with your core skill and it’s even better, you can even use the one that creates an earthquake on leap

Took me until level 80 to finally see that aspect in my inventory. So no I don’t think it’s useful for early game.

I’m around lvl 68 right now and crushing WT4 without issues, but I have yet to see this aspect. I’ve been using the Perpetual Stomping aspect with Stomp and Kick to reset Leaps cooldown. Once I get Giant Strides I can clear space for an Ult or another shout.

The damage of Leap is great when you crit after full stacks of Veteran Brawler on your two-hander. Using WW and Lunge for triggering WA. I use the Exploit glyph for applying Vulnerability, with Enhanced Kick for bosses. Having a way to sustain Vulnerability uptime on bosses is very important, which is why I might keep Kick but drop Perpetual Stomping and Stomp once I get Giant Strides.

Overall, the droprate on Giant Strides seems very low. I’ve gotten two perfect Umbral aspects, and no GS. Perpetual Stomping still keeps the build alive in WT4, but to push NM dungeons I definitely need GS to open up more skills.

I think just a WW build with 3 shouts would still beat this, but this build plays so much more fun.

I ran giant strides and perpetual stomping both for awhile. Used it more defensively though with disobedience and earthquakes on leap and ground stomp. It gets you to 100 stacks for disobedience really fast.

I dubbed it the Bounce House build on how many times you jump around each fight. Lots of fun.
