Im level 80 and not once has Aspect of exposed flesh dropped… not a single one. Is this aspect supposed to be this rare?

85 and only one dropped so far, low roll too
Yeah, this one is rare. It can only spawn on rings so save your obols for gambling rings.
A little bit of advice, IMO it’s worth it to get “Lucky Hit: x% primary resource generation” on your gloves and focus too. Stacked together with the exposed flesh aspect on the ring, essence would hardly be a problem anymore.

Thats the problem i cant get it to drop… i have spent well over 10k in oboes probably closee to around 25k on rings. Every helltide i open all the ring chests plus mystery chests. I have a 90plus druid i also farm obos on so my necro can use them. I also send all world boss and whisper ring cashs to my necro and its never dropped… getting really frustrated
Lv100 + 100h farming NM and Helltide + 50h farming obols and I did not see a single Aspect of Exposed flesh. I can confirm this aspect is a bad joke! If every season it’s impossible to loot an aspect wich make your build enjoyable to play, it will be without me unfortunately.

Its because youre playing as Bone.
Loot tables are skewed to deterr you from getting aspects that are directly correlated to your spec.
Change to Blood or Shadow for 2hours and you’ll get it.
(i get it all the time as blood, i have 3 perfect ones sitting in my stash @lvl 85)

Most builds rely on ultra rare drops to be fun to play.
id not have an issue with lower dps but ressource draining until you luckily find it AFTER ENDGAME, nope.
either not playing or just going flurry rogue next season, theres no enjoyment in blindly grinding an unfinished build for 100h
Its not a unique though… i could understand if it was on a unique… but a legendary aspect being more rare then most uniques is just ridiculous.
I’d say that that ring won’t solve your resource issue by its own, you still need to complement it with “Lucky Hit: +x% to primary resource” and/or other essence generator aspects.

It’s rare, but not impossible, I am at level 91 and got 4 Exposed Flash, 5 Umbrals and 3 Torments, unfortunatelly I overwrote one Torment. For what I remember I got most of them from Helltides or NM leveling the glyphs. Not one from Obols.
Ever since I hit either 80 or 85 I’ve seen maybe 6 so far total drop for me. I don’t think I ever saw a single one below level 80 though. Some people have a totally different experience though.
Salvaged one last night on my main. Didn’t even realize it was so rare but it doesn’t matter. My bone necro alt is only level 28 and I doubt I will level her up before season 1 starts. So it definitely exists but I didn’t remember seeing it before.
Level 100 here and 45,000 additional obols spent after reaching it. I’ve never seen a ring with the aspect drop. GL, but know the search can be FAR worse.

I understand that it is supposed to be really rare. But does it need to bee this rare?
If we were talking about a cosmetic item or something related to a easteregg I would understand. But it seems like I’ve been griding towards this item for the last 20 lvls of my gameplay …

I gave up after getting just one to drop. I decided to go minion mendeln/BS hybrid with the requiem affix (+5 essence per minion you have summoned)
Works ok so far and I dont have issues with essence with my cold mages in play. Max crits i get are 1.3m tho not the top 2m+ crit dmg you get as a non minion BS mancer.
I haven’t seen that ring as well… i have like 20 of the frost gloves and boots though lol.
My ring rng is just awful lol
