Aspect of the Cursed Aura doesn’t consistantly trigger Iron Maiden, or at least its healing and essence generation, while fortified through Necrotic Carapace. Unequiping and re-equipping the piece of armor with the aspect can restore the Iron Maiden effects, but only until my character becomes fortified again. Spec’ing out of Necrotic Carapace doesn’t seem to trigger this misbehavior.
