Aspect Extraction

I have a quick question. I understand we can extract legendary powers and they give us an aspect. We can then imprint these into new items.

My question is two fold:

  • When you imprint the aspect to a new item, the aspect is lost, correct?
  • Secondly, can I then extract the aspect from the item I imprinted it to, to apply to another item?

When you imprint the item it is used, so yes you lose it.

You may not extract it again, it will say “Imprinted” By the aspect meaning it is not extractable anymore.

When you find an item you can think of it having 2 uses left.
If you put the item as it dropped on, you can then later extract it and then imprint on another better item. After that you have to find the aspect again.

It gets a little wonky at parts where you wanna hold onto an aspect even though its an immediate upgrade in hopes for a better base item to put it on. But that is a never ending hamsterwheel and at some point you gotta get in there.

I figure if it is good enough for a decent upgrade now, then it will get me to T3 faster and there i can find even better stuff.
