Because his viewers probably dropped shortly after he stopped playing. Most streamers (not all) tend to follow whatever is trending, even if they don’t like it. My guess is he actually really likes it, but positivity doesn’t seem to sell. To his base, at least.

True enough, which is why consistent content on his views about the game are consumed by the average viewer, good or bad he still gets ad revenue.

It means a dude with a streaming job decided it’s either advantageous or fun (or both) for him to play again. Really nothing more.
So he can quit again just to come back again. He needs to keep his followers enterained.

I won’t be back until they fix the broken class mechanics, increase synergies (sorc class minimum), improve the many problems with lag they are having with <400k concurrent users online lmafao hahahaha (like for real… wow), fix storage and the many things thatare missing from an online only game, like group play and proper messaging.

It’s not just the devs, it’s the whole bloody org in charge of this project from the top down to the simplest of things like capacity planning. I haven’t seen incompetence like this from a AAAA company since Diablo Immortal.

For many of us, we do not follow specific streamers closely. I have only watched a few of his comments. I think that I have never even watched a full video of his.
From my small sample I did agree with his take on the lack of sense of nerfing cooldowns without understanding why that stat becomes obligatory when many powerful D4 skills having long cooldowns.
P.S. I was reading a news article about D4. They described the pre-season patch as almost universally despised. Even Bizzsrd said it was not fun. Are you referring to forum posters who liked this D4 patch as the loud minority?
I don’t know man, Asmongold is playing the game again, as a loyal viewer of his, I have to agree with him on the state of the game being playable.
It’s playable for sure. I can’t disagree. I just expect more from them than what we got.
The numerical buffs are reactive (which is better than nothing, but a quick fix), going to be stupid op and then everyone will flock back and this will overshadow the true issues with this piece of garbage game. Le sigh. Ah well. At least maybe they can get 10 percent of the player base to enjoy it. Maybe that’s success these days. Good luck to all who trickle back un for 1.1.1
Ahh the truth is that rage farmers can’t farm without the thing they’re raging against. All the streamers and complainers need this game, otherwise they would be forced to do something productive and meaningful with their time.
